this song is one of my favorites. and to 309fantom, very nice tribute to your wife. my cousins used this song for their first dance at their wedding and it was so beautiful. this may be the song that i use for my wedding too. idk yet still deciding but i have a few years to decide that though.

I used to sing for my wife all the time. Only for her because i can't sing, but she liked it. In 1988 she was in a car crash. I sang this song for her three days before she died. It was the last song i ever sang. RIP Karen. You are still my life.

@gluchnurse His last two albums didn't fare so well. Singles weren't charting... then his record label (which he started/owned) closed.... hopefully he'll find the songwriting skills of the 90's and get another album together for the fans.

@lowslowflyer77 Possibly-but for a creative person I would think the pull to create and perform would always be there-that there would be a love hate relationship with possibly getting burned out, yet needing that applause, that connection with an audience that drove you to perform in the first place. Thinking it possibly has more to do with the business aspects and the fickleness of marketing executives and who will play your songs on the air...

@gluchnurse his career came to a halt because he lost his record label Equity music Group back in December 2008 due to financial difficulties. He is now with a new record label and he will have new music sometime this year.
