  • Also, those deluded white women are just asking to get raped living in that slum.

  • @sohc287 Yeah screw people who try to help the poor. Hate hate hate, war war war, greed greed greed.

  • There is no way the compost pile reaches a high enough temperature to destroy all of the bacteria and parasites.

  • Hi, do you know if these ladies survived the earthquake? I loved this peice when you first put it up and remembered it when I heard the news about the recent quake. I hope they are ok!

  • Whew I hope they survived

  • Me too, as well as the woman in the next part of the series...and her 10 children ;/

  • they did survive and are helping the victims right now in every way they can.

  • Thankyou for the info!! :)

  • Thank you for producing this video about public dry toilets. I am happy to include the link in a post on my blog, Solutions for a Sustainable World.

  • Thank you lady's for simple but effective efforts.

  • HAHAHHAH

  • I think it goes back father than the 1950's. It's funny how easy people forget true american's even in this documentary

  • The next time you knock America....or whites, remember what we do. Perhaps you will miss us when China takes over. You had better look into what they did to Tibet.

  • Christian organizations from America provide 70% of the world's releif. The great thing about American's being properous is that it has made us generous. I hope we never become socialist so we don't have extra money to give out as we always have!

  • @Sizzleburger we're already becoming socialist. I live in section 8 housing, I just turned 18 and still living with my parents. My parents don't have the motivation to improve their English and get a higher education. They're unemployed, but hey, they don't mind, because they feel safe under section 8 housing!!

  • I'm sorry about your situation- did you get a chance to graduate or are you a Senior in high school? I used to help young adults like you get a higher education- have you had a chance to look into that so you can be in a different situation than your parents?

  • @Sizzleburger well thanks for your concern. I graduated from high school and I'm now experiencing socialism first hand by receiving financial aid for college. I'm still taking classes since last year. I've been looking for a job too, but have not found one. What kind of struggles did the young adults that you used to help have?

  • Where do i start with this troll comment. A. Jesus was not a promoter of capitalism.

    B. Of the top five giving organizations in the U.S. only the Salvation Army is linked to Cristian Churches.

    C. Haiti is also capitalist.

    D. Switzerland has the highest average incomes and is socialist and founded the Red Cross.

  • It is not nice to call people troll's in order to make a point- ouch! Jesus was a promoter of giving, and that is what we are talking about. The more we have, the more we should give. I give away 10% of my income to charitable organizations around the world, and the more I make, the more I have to give. It's not money that's the issue, it's the LOVE of money- and the U.S. has gotten very materialistic, but they also reach out the most- more than other country.

  • Clara Barton, an American, was the founder of the Red Cross and it was officially founded in Washington D.C. in 1881, after a trip from Switzerland where she saw something similiar.Clara was a Christian, by the way. The United states gave 314 BILLION dollars in aid around the world- more than other countries! There are many Christian organizations that give aid, only one is in the top five, if you add them all together, it is the Christian organizations that give the most aid.

  • @Sizzleburger In 1876, the committee adopted the name "International Committee of the Red Cross" (ICRC), which is still its official designation today. Five years later, the American Red Cross was founded through the efforts of Clara Barton

  • The bottom line is, what are YOU doing to help others around the world with the resources you were given? I, with my family and church, helped start a feeding program in Africa, helped build a school for orphans in Mexico, built a home for homeless, etc. and not because I'm a good person, but I just feel so blessed living in this country that I want to give at least a little back what I've been given. We shouldn't waste time arguing- take our time DOING.

  • My Comment - Part 1: Don't worry. The US will not become socialist anytime soon because of greedy people like you. Socialism is a good thing, but you're too greedy to understand this. You justify your greed by saying the US needs too much so that it can give it where it is needed. Unfortunately, the truth is, the US is prosperous because it exploits people to no end. Prosperity can exist without exploiting.

  • My Comment - Part 2: Unfortunately, most victimizers don't want to understand this. I hope people continue to donate to Haiti. It needs help desperately. Say "NO" to religion and corruption. Say "YES" to humanitarianism.

  • good lord... what they have done with a piece of paradise it was. People i mean, not these girls

  • WOW. These crazy girls are AMAZING! God bless them. Two beautiful American women doing all the right things makes me feel even more proud to be an American. Thanks also to Nick for his great reports on what matters.

  • Piss off you twit.

  • so true! America should pay off all africa's debt! (and england too, but they arnt as rich as america)

  • Thank You! Thank You! We are very bless to have wonderful human beings like you!

  • Congratulations, girls!

  • Very interesting...

  • Thanks a lot for all the help you are providing to my people. Kudos to you, Sasha and Sarah, for your selflessness and dedication. God bless you!

  • crazy is not the right word to describe these girls - selfless, gracious and charitable however, fit them well. Sasha and Sarah along with the many others that work with them should be applauded for their dedication to this cause. "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful people can change the world; indeed it's the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead.

  • How does fertilizing with human waste in Haiti differ from how it was done in Korea during the 50s? The Koreans could eat the goods without problem but the American GIs could not because of the bacteria?

  • You get the feeling that what environmentalism -really- is is a less expensive, more efficient, wiser series of improvements that actually take us back to a better time in human history when our relationship with God's Creation was mutually beneficial rather than abusive.

Humanity went a little crazy for a few decades. It's time to return to our roots.

The whole world used to look like a national park.

    It can again.

  • What a great statement. Well said. Thank you.
