  • was expecting at least ONE "Yob" / Idiot to shout something and disrupt the minute's silence but THANKFULLY no one did MAXIMUM RESPECT MCFC FANS!!!!!!!!!

  • I love man City and have been a lifelong fan. That doesn't make me want to hate or even dislike Manchester United fans. Why don't some of you turn that passion into doing something useful like joining the army and fighting the real enemies of our nation. The person wearing a different color scarf is the same as you. Can anyone give me a mature and valid reason why this would give you a reason to abuse them. Grow up and make football a place where we can take our kids without fear of violence

  • @kairostutorials your from sheffield? thats why you wont understand.

  • @TOMMYQWERTYUIOP

Born n bred in Manchester...now working in Sheffield and no i don't understand...

  • @TOMMYQWERTYUIOP

To be honest mate i probably felt that passionate when I was younger, but put that down to immaturity and needing a cause to follow. Maybe its because I grew up or just resent the fact that i cant take any of my 3 young children to games without worrying about what they might see there after the game. its a shame because I loved going to the Kippax with my dad when i was young and would want my kids to experience the buzz for themselves

  • That sound is a gun.. u can hear the noise just slightly after the bang. Thats no fire work. and you can't hear the sparkles.

  • i heard the loud banging noises you could hear where firworks let off by leeds city and liverpool fans outside dont though if these were rumours though

  • Was that a gun salute?

  • R.I.P From a Liverpool Fan. Football has gone to far in terms of disrispect, from both players and fans these days. We are all one community and should celebrate the great game, not disrespect each others team. You'll Never Walk Alone.

  • @MrEskkaY shut up

  • we went out of our way 2 see that was respected+woebetide anyone who didnt!!!

  • I hate city, and city hate united but its times like these that makes football brilliant, people will say shit about Munich to point score but it just makes us better, its good how city stood and showed respect. Thank you

  • OLD TRAFFORD IS USED TO QUIET CROWDS EVERY WEEKEND.. CITY $ LIFE

  • MANCHESTER UNITED<3 xx

  • as much as I dislike City (due to being a United fan) I have to respect their supporters on this day. The whole stadium fell silent.

  • city fans, the best in the world, of that i have no doubt!

34 years and were still here!

  • apart from the few cunts a row or 2 infront of who was recording then fair play to the city fans

  • well done city fans

  • Although I'm a City fan, I seriously doubt that many other fans can pay the same courtesy the City fans did there. CTID

  • STOP HATRED IN FOOTBALL - i love Manchester United but i have full respect for Hillsborough and wouldn't dream of interrupting a silence or chanting about a tragedy for even the bitterest rivals like LFC or City. It's one thing wantin to do better than your rivals and hating it when they win, it's another to be a disgusting human being. City fans were great during that silence.

  • Credit to the City fans here. Brilliant stuff, a city united over the Munich tragedy. Man Utd will never die

  • I don't fucking respect City at all for this. 9 months later at Eastlands they were singing it again.

Busby played for City and Swift who died in the crash was your greatest keeper. Just shows City fans up for what they are. Bitters. 33 YEARS, and a foe heart attack later and they still haven't won anything.

  • fair dos to city here dey respected it well

  • It's true the Scousers wouldn't have participated in the silence but then I have no doubt that a number of United fans would not respect a silence for Hillsborough. Obviously the true City fans realise that Swift was part of this tragedy and sympathies the events that happend because they are true football fans. At the end of the day football is just football and when people sing about people dieing it is just out of porpotion.

  • what were the bangs?

  • city fans with fireworks

  • No you fkin retard, it was the chinese new year on that day and cannons were fired in town.

  • Edwards Shoulda Survive

but after 15 days he was dead.

  • I heared that guy shouting c'mon city on tv :)

  • same haha :P

  • you have no respect

you should be taken away and shot

how can you say such a thing about such a terrible tradegy as the munich air disater.

I hope u get hit by a bus

  • "they laid out the bodies to see just who was dead, and there was Duncan Edwards without his fucking head !"

  • You must be such a sad cunt.

  • i ahve notin but respect 4 city fans after this

the scouse would of just been jeerin

  • As much as i hate city can fault up here

  • im a united fan and i hate city as much as the next guy, but that was good of u lot to keep quiet

    nice one boys

  • champions of england champions of euorpe champions of the world fuck the shitty city

  • it was to FILTHY MUNICH SCUM

  • I don't really like United, in fact i cant stand them being a Bolton fan, but the Munich chants are just down right disrespectful. You sound like a right bell end.

  • check my vids iv some good man city vids

  • MAN CITY HAVE RESPECT

  • @haykier11 it could of come from both home and away supporters dick ed. and im a leeds fan

  • @siobhanlr Layds??

  • thanks to the majority of u lot that were there that day just ashame about the odd few shouts and those fireworks someone set off outside

  • you deserve to die too you blue dickhead. fuck off

  • cheers to most Citeh fans!

was a bit dissapointed after hearing what they did during the game outside the stadium but they were just idiots! also i heared one citeh fan saying "waahheyy" when those bangs wnt off.

but very well respected by most!

  • Thank you city fans.

  • anyone having a go at people dying is a proper idiot. i'm a city fan, but i, no one can condone saying those people deserved to die. CTID

  • good to see you think that mr orwin i presume

    MANCHESTER-TRUELY A CITY UNITED

  • indeed it is mr orwin

  • good to see you and your fellow blues (the majority off anyway) do have respect for the babes and for those that dont i want to say one thing to them remember frank swift and SIR MATT BUSBY both played for manchester city and to say that those deserved to die is having a go at your own players but to people like my good friend mr orwin here i have the utmost respect for you both

    MANCHESTER-TRUELY A CITY UNITED

  • no they didnt deserve to die you cock 1 of the players played for city dfor a start and if ure a city fan ure an absolute cock, not only that but back thn people would go watch CITY 1 week then united the next but after the disaster sumin append to that club and they got these fans out of no were that now have turned into GLORY HUNTIN CUNTS if it happend to the current man utd team i wudnt care AT-ALL but back thn that jus harsh they wernt so bad thn

  • CTID!!!!!!!!!!! - best fans in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! born nd bred in manchester - a true blue =D unlike most utd fans - u probs didnt even know y there was a minutes silence until it cme along

  • True supporters showing true emotion.

Fucking retarded man u scumbags still banging on the fucking walls.

    CTID!

  • btw well done to the city fans for keeping quiet for a change.

  • 8munichbastard - all u do is search utd videos and comment dumbfuck stuff like the stupid hillbilly u r, and u musnt have a girlfriend ( ur sister dosent count) or a life for that matter. I have told you before you wouldnt say that on the streford end in even if u get in because under 12's might have to be accompanied by an adult.

did u watch utd lift the premier league title and watch the champions league final through someone else's window!

so go back n your box in the corner and DIE !

  • i dont tend to offen the scum with the munich disaster

but i do hate united and their arrogance

  • fuckin cruel bastard, what if it was u burnging alive, think if it was your family burning...mutha fucker

  • you piece of shit!

u will go to hell if u have views like that!

  • thegoldenbank i live in wythenshawe wich is manchester you daft cunt and we do keep sayin 33years cos it shows how shit u are

  • did you rags not realise that the silnece was only supposed to last for one minute? so glad that the blues kept it well.. fucking media making out like we were scum and going to ruin it

  • whoever digupmatbusby is ur a CUNT

how can you say munich because of frank swift and foe u faggot

    32years manchester is red 8-1

  • is that all united fans say? 32 years this 32 years that.. make something new! fair enough we lost 8-1 but quit living in the past u diry cockney twat.

  • minutes silence? surely you mean 90 minute silence? would expect nothing more from tokyo f.c

  • respect to city

  • i was so proud of city, we were quiet all the way through the silence AND we won 2-1 :D cumon you blues!! x

  • HELLO Planet Earth calling, singing songs about people dying is sick and all football hooligans are POINTLESS FUCKWITS, end of.

  • Munich R.I.P, from a Liverpool fan. these Munich and Hillsborough chants have got to stop. think both supporters clubs have got to do more. it's highly unlikely but even if it means Liverpool fans taking a banner to old trafford with the msg, MUNICH R.I.P. and Man Utd fans doing same at Anfield about Hillsborough. these idiots seem to forget, both tragedies affected people who arent footy fans & couldnt give a toss about the rivalry between Liverpool and Man Utd or football in general.

  • @kezncurt you're a top guy. RIP the 96 and RIP our Munich dead.

  • @danieltilling Cheers fella. I'm a huge kopite and naturally dont like Man. Utd but i just wish people would just see past the badge when it comes to things like this. At Hillsborough people seem to forget that some Nottingham Forest fans made it on to the pitch and were getting their finger out helping the injured as you do when fellow human beings are in trouble regardless of what football shirt they have on. JFT 96 MUNICH R.I.P.

  • @kezncurt shut it m8 lets all laugh at munich lets all laugh at munich ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • @jake9818 You are a wanker! Do you understand that? You...Are...A...Wanker. WANKER, WANKER, WANKER

  • @kezncurt Very well put. Football is a beautiful game and a major part of life for many people, but sacrificing humanitarianism for the sake of club pride is pitiful and immature.

  • thier was more silence from u rag loving bastards for days after your 2nd defeat this season by the mighty blues CTID

  • Well done Blues was in O.T that day and the rag loving media were praying we would make a noise so they could say how bad we are but we fully respected the day. Me personally i was keeping quiet for Swift NOT THE BABES!!!!!!!!

  • You are an absolute prick

  • i'm a city and i think its right we stop singin about munich, not that its united, just that its about people who lost there lifes doin something most english people dream about, playin professional football, what if we get in europe and we crash a plane, the amount of shit we'll get off united fans all cause we're disrespectful bastards, don't get me wrong i hate united and used to always shout munich on derby day, but latley i've just though to my self its very wrong

  • cinese new year is 7th ov feb not the 10th!

  • City is the kings of Manchester

  • A police corden outside the pretend manchester clubs Lego LOOK A lIKE ground allows fire works and Its Gods own Teams Fans to blame ?

    Get real

The only fireworks were as we stuffed your pretend manchester team 1-2

Pathetic cockney half wit utd till I die ?

Lets hope you live long enough to see us take another 6 points of you next season

  • well that was probably your own prawn sandwich brigade trying to make out it was our own loyal fans!!!

  • this shows how much respect city fans have can u remember how the united fans payed there respect for mark vivien foe!! CITY TILL I DIE!!! COME ON CITY!!!

  • what respect like blowing up fireworks outside tha ground hmmm..

    utd till a die

  • Like singing about Munich for the past 50 years?

Yes you have some respectful fans but you have a fuck load of pricks who sing about Munich, mainly the South Stand on Derby day, there are plenty of Videos on here of hundreds of them singing munich.

  • Just read the comments on this and what a load of I am better than you are crap

    Grow up children

    Half threats and unproveable nonsense

    Life on mars stuff

Gods own football team are on the march and the pretend manchester club and its fans are on the back foot.

We destroyed your planned media circus storm pre writtem abuse by showing our digity for the silence and stuffed you on the field.

Its all about international profile and ours is far bigger after the derby.

  • you don't say your win was lucky?

if you are so damn good, why the hell havent you won anything?

  • who is this hamilton2k7 retard ?

  • 1st of all hamilton2k7 your a prick

yes man city hav always sang munich but that comes with football i sing about hillsboro and others but respect to man city fans for there mins silence they kept it well

    man utd til i die

  • i agree, i am a united fan, but fair play to city for there respect!!

    LOVE UNITED

  • Fair play for that bozmanc. At least the majority of reds know that to criticise City fans for singing about Munich would be a bit hypocritical. Fans of all clubs indulge in sick chants at some time or other. It isn't right but it happens. I remember some of our own moaning when United fans were singing about Foe at the OT derby a few years back and thinking that we had no right to whinge about it, given the amount of stick United have taken about Munich over the years.

  • fair play you dirty blue only joking

yes i will be honest i sang about foe but thats all about being in the stands i also went to maine road to his tribute in my red shirt and laid down a man utd black shirt and signed book they had there

i did get a few funny looks at first

  • So you sung about Foe but also paid tribute to him?

Just because your in the stands doesn't make it ok to sing about Munich, Foe, Hillsborough etc

  • its part of being in the stands you prick not that you would know you more than likely never been to a match

and yes i hav sang about somethings but also paid my respects just coz i hav sang songs means nothing its just match day you knob

  • Oh do fuck off you cunt. Not know about it? I was at this game against City as I was at their shithouse, I've been a season ticket holder since i was 14.

Just because it's a match day doesn't mean its right to sing about people dying. How old are you?

The majority of the small number of Utd fans who sing about crap like that are under 20 year old wannabe "top reds"

  • listen little boy you know fuck all prick stop tryin to be a big man over the net i bet your a skinny little twat with specks who does everything mummy says you wanker

  • Hamiltion,

Am a United fan, but ur a d*ck.

  • I am with a young Guv (my Son) who has no access to a computer, but wants to get a few facts straight, over to, lets call him Mr Fawkes, "......at approximately 12 noon, we went into the GORSE HILL wearing our CITY badges, and stayed about 1hr, we then drove to RAILWAY ROAD and went to the 1 ton bag of sand on the site of a demolished house between two houses, we placed our fireworks in the sand and, on hearing SILENCE, proceeded to have you over on and off the pitch, bangs were PLANNED muppets

  • Dick

  • Im sick of all united fans givin city fucking praise, they sing munich week in week out, shut the fuck up, CITY OR UNITED?

  • hamilton u soft fukin wolly there was trouble outside the ground maybe a few angry munich fans but tel me this how should man united b respected for al they du every fucking game is sing about hillsborugh thats y eevry1 haets u shit support shity fans 2faced sing about u scouse absterd only when UR FUKIN HERO IS SCOUSE u just fukin jealous u twats

  • Why, when did Roy Keane turn into a hillsbourgh ?

  • "Why, when did Roy Keane turn into a hillsbourgh ?"

That last word sums you up completely - more than happy to bleat about fans singing about Munich but conveniently forgetting that you indulge in taunts about other club's disasters.

hamilton2k7 - outed as the biggest hypocrite on the 'net.

  • No, idiot, not EVERY United fan sings about Hillsborough. The idea is that only idiots sing about such things. If you want to be a big man, don't sing about such tragedies whatever club you support.

  • and not every city fan sings about munich, and for all the people that say the fireworks were city's are wrong, the fireworks were for the chinese new year you retards

  • lfc55555

We sing about Hillsborough every game? I've never heard it at a home game and i've only heard it twice away from home sung by a few pricks like that Hamilton2k7 2k7 from the sounds of it.

  • What, they sing about Munich for 50 years ? yet we should thank them for keeping quiet for 59 seconds ? fuck off. City got what they deserved OUTSIDE the ground. agood fuckin beatin.

  • hamilton2k7 - wondered when you'd show your face again. And you don't sing about Hillsborough, Aberfan, Istanbul and Foe? Pot, kettle, and black eh? I hope you're proud of yourself for twatting scarfers outside the ground. Shame you can't show a bit of class like the vast MAJORITY of Reds on here. But going off your ridiculous comments the other week about how 2,000 Reds were going to descend on the away end from all corners of the ground, what can one expect? What a tit.

  • You lot shit it and kept quiet, how are we supposed too slap yas all on national tv without a reason, so we did it outside the ground :-D. I love this quote off the bluewatch forum. ' Their scum, i had too walk around in town with my scarf and shirt covered so i didn't get attacked ' ... Worthy of the young guv'nors ' Fuck messin with them again, alot tougher then what i thought.' ... MUFC OWNS MANCHESTER

  • What a prick you are hamilton. I'll put my mortgage on the following:

1)It's all well and good whingeing about City fans singing about Munich, but I bet you yourself are more than happy to sing about other disasters. Hypocritical twat.

2)The only fans you've ever twatted are innocent scarfers. You wouldn't have the balls to front up a proper firm.

A good mate of mine is an ex-United hooligan. If he saw the shit you post on here he'd be more than happy to teach a prick like you a lesson.

  • Lmao, fuck right i sing about hillsbourgh and foe. Especially istanbul.

Your firm got leathered all around town, and your youth got done in ancoats

  • Thanks - you've just covered yourself in glory with that first sentence. Happy to spout about other club's tragedies but crying like a baby when someone sings about yours. People in glass houses eh?

And as for "our firm" getting leathered all over town and Ancoats, firstly it ain't my firm as I don't run with City's mob, and secondly I bet it wasn't you that was involved because you were probably too busy on Chester Rd twatting innocent scarfers because City dared to win on your ground.

  • Well, me and the lads had a row with ' wythenshawe warriors ' ... the ecko wearing 'mandem' that was before the game in town. Then after it we saw a fat lad gettin leathered by around 20 MIB boys. That was quality. Your main guv'nors got done outside Sam Platts. Your young guv'nors were done in ancoats. Basically you won on the pitch, but we didn't half get a result off it!

  • "Then after it we saw a fat lad gettin leathered by around 20 MIB boys"

You sure you saw that? Or did you read about it on one of the numerous websites that have been full of the story?

hamilton2k7 - wannabee real-life hooligan who's probably the first on his toes at the sign of a rumble, but at least you're top boy in the Cyber warrior league.

  • You just as much of a lowlife cunt for singing about Hillsborough etc as the Scousers and City fans are that sing about Munich.

  • Oh and another thing hamilton. If you think the City fans keeping quiet was because they "shit it", how come the blues watching in all the pubs across Manchester and beyond respected it too? Or perhaps they shit it too eh? Even in the pubs that were packed full of blues maybe? What an utter arse you are. Keyboard warrior numpty and an embarrassment to decent reds everywhere.

  • Good video scall. Have to say there have been some cracking videos put up on here filmed from all sections of the ground. I'm just glad it was observed because like most blues I was concerned that a few of our idiots wouldn't. Strange as most reds I spoke to in the days leading up to the game were more confident than us that our own would observe it.

  • Well done, City fans. It was a great minute of silence. You deserved the win as well. Now sell us Micah Richards, will'ya?

  • We TORINO (Toro) fans understand you as few football fans are abel to do. Our wonderful and really strong team was totally destroyed in a plane accident in 1,949, in the hill of Superga.

So, big solidarity to Utd fans, and high respect to City fans for their behaviour during the commemoration.

Busby Babies, we will not forget you!

Saluti

  • respect to city, as much as i hate you i have to say it,i take my hat off to you for keeping the silence.the dicks outside with the fireworks were probably fuckin scousers more than likley come up to fuck the day up

  • As a united fan, full respect to city for being silent

  • as a man utd fan. im proud of them.

dont listen to that fanny, done yourself proud!

    we'll never forget it

  • Well done manchester city!!

    REDARMY!!

  • fair enough they kept quiet for 60 seconds, but what about the last 50 years, i'm sorry but im not that quick in thanking them.

  • i understand what these united fans are saying, most of them can never take a defeat

  • this the trueist thing ever heard most of my m8s are man u fans and carnt ever take a defeat ! im a hartlepool fan so its second nature to me now ! ha

  • thanks to the city fans on the day who were respectful! coming from a manc! cheers

  • united players wore black boots to remember the disaster...

  • not quite sure why people compare a game with people who lost they lives. I hate City as a club, but their fans showed that they are the mint.

anthonyyyanthon: i saw no trouble at the end, as they were kept behind. why would you kick someones head in for being respectful. what would you have done if they didnt respect it???

Really made my day, Thanks City!!!

  • anthonyyyanthon whoever you are your concentrate n the football and realise we are not bitter, n why be so childish and stupid hooligans into it :S

  • Wrong Murfs2007, it was said after the match that is was a tribute from Manchester United fans who were stuck outside the ground. It was publicised after the match and this is coming from a Liverpool fan!

Well done to the City fans, credit to their club. Maybe other clubs could take heed if they ever play Liverpool on the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

  • OMG, if a liverpool fan says so it must be true. Don't be silly, jus cos the commnetator said some crap at the end doesn't make it legit. I think most people deep down know it was no tribute.

Well done to everyone inside the ground though.

  • i still hate all you cunts, fireworks killed the whole thing, and thats why united kicked fuck out of your supporters at the end

    bitter blue twats

  • Ive heard a rumour that they know who set the fireworks off and it wasnt a tribute. Apparently he's a business man. I hope he gets his head kicked in. Cheers to all the Blues that paid there respects. Youve gone up in a lot of peoples eyes. Yesterday I was proud to be a Mancunian.

  • muffs2007 u are an idiot. the man city supporters did really well. u should applaud them instead of putting them down.also u should learn to spell before making stupid comments like u did at the end. its religion not religon.arsenal religion more like it.

  • the bangs were kids lettin fireworks off outside

  • firstly murfs2007 i'd like to know if you were at the game? Secondly, the fans yesterday were second to none, do not tar us with the same brush as the few idiots outside who were not good enough fans to get a ticket for the game. is it me or was united just waiting for us to mess up, ah well 2-1 nvm see you next year, i will attend, again :D

  • Unbelievable!! I am Italian and I have never seen anything like that in Italy..Well done!!

  • well done to the city fans and thank you for respecting the silence!

  • Massive respect to City for this!!!

The bagpipes were amazing just as they first come out!

And when City sang "There's only one Frank Swift" and then the United fans applauded it, that was a nice touch!

  • The bangs were fireworks. They were a tribute from the fans who couldn't get tickets for the match.

  • no they wasnt. they were a tribute to the players that died in 58.

  • stupid basterds was city fans tryin to distract the crowd. hardly gony let fireworks off during a minute silence to pay a tribue to those who died. has to be the stupidest thing ive ever heard :| MUFC the Religon

  • the fireworks were city fans trying 2 interupt the silence and think they r clever, but they did observ it well in the ground
