She's so brilliant, and so intelligent - I hate the way she had to justify herself about the sex book. Like she said, everyone was so shocked, but everyone bought it and discussed it. I remember these years. i was in my mid 20's back then and to live through it was interesting> She was the backbone of pop culture. Without her it would have collapsed under its own weight. Madonna puts the sex book down now.. She is a different person today. I really feel back then she went through a period of being confused about her life though she will not admit it. She went out with some jerks. I think she really found herself after having Lourdes and marrying Guy. Shes complete now but she worried about not having it in the mid 90s.
