Miata - Just Fixed, More Strange Noises! WTF!?!?

nah dont listen to anyone here they are talkin out their asses i had the same noise its just the flywheel spinning when you push in it stops spinning so you dont here anything and the rattling you here when you rev it the catalytic con bro i had that noise too. the cover is rusted up so its looser than it should be just get a dremel tool or anything you can cut with and cut the cover off no need for it

i have the same noise in the transmission (standard) but it stops when i step on the clutch and in fourth gear...what could it be

Try switching to high grade synthetics like Redline or Royal Purple.

drop the oil pan and replace the connecting rod bearings in about 4 hours time and 50 bux , get the clevite77 bearing protectant and smear it real good on the new ones , if you do it before theres damage on the crank then your ok , continue to drive on it and you risk damaging the crank and breaking rods !

Sounds like it might be a spun rod bearing. Have you driven the car and heard the engine make knocking noises? If that happens, then that's your problem.
