Mike's up there with Neil Peart in creativity, Petrucci's influenced and been influenced by many other guitarists, worse than, better then, and in the same skill level as him, I'd like to see a lot of other singers do what James LaBrie used to be able to do in Images and Words, and their music wouldn't have nearly as much feeling...

@MichaelsPortraits Some people add emotions by the way they play the notes and they use a lot of bending and stuff at their own way to add the feel. Some people put emotion into their songs by just playing the right notes. It purely depends on how you listen to music but these guys are in any way geniuses. They are one of the best at what they do but they approach music differently. They are almost the exact opposite of Hendrix his style.

That switch at 11:53 always got me. I love how they took that riff from the intro and changed the groove behind it to just give it this "bang-your-head" vibe. That is literally my favorite part of the track. Just a killer groove laying the foundation under that phat ass riff \m/
