get real fit mate, around the mark where you can at least do 40 push ups in 2 mins 50 sit ups in 2 mins about 3 pull ups and rum 1.5 miles (2.4K) in around 11 mins.
if you cant get in the ADF then go for the British army, as you will still be serving your country in away, or still be fighting for the same cource.
but you should have no problem in geting into the ADF : )

What they recruit all year round they never stop, theres just cycles when training start get in the ASAP takes atleast 6 month before you can go to recruit or officer traiining

I'm 17 and I plan to join the Army next year. I'm proud of all our soldiers that have fought and died for our country over the last 100 years. I've been to the Menin Gate and I cried. I love my country, and I feel honoured that I'm gunna be a part of this proud Australian tradition. So please, all you people out there badmouthing our soldiers, think about it. australia can be proud of its military, they have done some outstanding things, but the best part of it is its dedication to aiding other countries through distaster like the 2004 tsunami and in pakistan after earthquakes

get real fit mate, around the mark where you can at least do 40 push ups in 2 mins 50 sit ups in 2 mins about 3 pull ups and rum 1.5 miles (2.4K) in around 11 mins.
if you cant get in the ADF then go for the British army, as you will still be serving your country in away, or still be fighting for the same cource.
but you should have no problem in geting into the ADF : )

I love my country, and I feel honoured that I'm gunna be a part of this proud Australian tradition. So please, all you people out there badmouthing our soldiers, think about it. I don't agree with the war in Iraq, but that's the government's fault, not the fault of our soldiers. Great video :)

And Other SF groups are not molded around the British SAS. Every SF unit/Group is catered for diferent situations, trained differently. Although we all use simmilar tactics.

ok u maybe a grunt,well we have many of them in the brit army but us,we are the most highly trained reg out the sf.we are classed as elite shock troops......our role is to go in to battle not always by para...but by puma or lynx fast helis...assualt a target then secure it then let the grunts then carry on..while we go home 4 tea and medals!!!...i never onced had 2 secure airfield,my battalion are front line ie first brit force over into iraq in the war,first brit regiment into sangin (afghan)

14 BRIT TROOPS 6 marines 8 royal marine commandos! 2 boats only armed with sa80s........over 140 heavily armed iraian border guards with 7.62 guns mounted 50 cals!! many boats include small frigate!!
Brit troops fight there would be many casulties on both sides!! FACT........not 2 mention bringing iran into the war!.and also giving irainian organisations the exscuse to hand out iraq & afgan insurgents with even more bombs and information!!
