I am glad he's mentioned Peter Sellers and Woody Allen as peers and sources of inspiration. Coming from Christopher Guest, it only makes sense. I know it may seem obvious to name these guys, but they are the two top comic geniuses on the list, and will always remain irreplaceable.
I have to agree. I know Charlie Rose is famous for his interviewing skills and everything, but I wanted to strangle him every time he was talking over Guest. I can see Rose every day, but Christopher Guest...
Guest: "She's a MOTHER."
Rose: "And she does commercials!"
Sheesh, Charlie Rose didn't seem himself in this interview.
