The Durango makes 290HP with the V6, The Explorer makes 290HP as well, and The Traverse makes 288HP with the V6, so no, the Durango is right on par with the rest of the suvs. With the Hemi, its makes 360HP.
@flatblackstrat I would go with the mazda cx9. Its in the same class as the traverse and the explorer. The interior is way better than the traverse and is faster and slows down quicker than the traverse. It also has keyless entry with the intelligent key, auto windshield wipers, Hid headlight ect. The fuel economy not bad 17/24 for the fwd and 16/22 in awd. which is about the same as the traverse. it get 17/24 and 16/23

Its 290 hp all over the US for the Durango, sure it make 283 hp in some other vehicles but there isnt a version with just 260 hp... obviously he made a mistake. There is no SULEV or PZEV version of the pentastar V6 either that would reduce output.
Yeah, I much would prefer a GMC Acadia just because I know that GM's motors and transmissions last much longer. But I am very surprised by this vehicle, given it's history.
The inside could be better... It needs wood grain for a more luxurious look... Although it looks better than the previous years... It just looks like a mini van from the back.
All these american 4wd's are ugly.
