I would say that the difference between Jordan then and Jordan now is that his style now goes into the realm of alternative.

Look at the music he has been selecting - nothing standard about the rhythms at all. I can appreciate the choreography but the music has no passion in it, no soul.

But I've danced with the man - the soul is in there. You just have to tease it out of him.

There's a difference between dancing and performing. Jordan has become a better dancer. So what if he doesn't show as much flare. All that means is that he doesn't have to compensate for lack of skill or experience.
