In some ways, you can tell that doing this is killing him inside. He needs this information and her defenses are breaking her. But at the same time he seems like he's enjoying it. It's terrifying how good Alan Rickman is in this film. I really have to remind myself that he's actually a nice, normal guy, not an abusive interrogator. If I couldn't separate the two, I would never be able to watch a Harry Potter film in peace!

I know! It must be incredibly challenging to act within acting - and he does a remarkably complicated version of that in this. This whole part had me completely on edge...fantastic acting! I too thought his voice could go no deeper...it was quite interesting to hear it at that tone.

And I thought Rickman's voice couldn't go deeper than it already is...
The higher voice he does is also mind-boggling...and to see him switch characters so quickly within a split-second is unbelievable...since that takes lots of concentration and focus. I'm guessing that he was rather worn out by the end of the scene.
Brilliant actor...disturbing movie...but utterly fantastic actor.

I know! It must be incredibly challenging to act within acting - and he does a remarkably complicated version of that in this. This whole part had me completely on edge...fantastic acting! I too thought his voice could go no deeper...it was quite interesting to hear it at that tone.

Ah. This movie has brought Alan's acting skill to a whole new level for me. This is freaking weird, a disturbing film. But very endearing at the same time. *sigh* Just when I thought Alan couldn't get any more talented.
