I've listened to this song a million times but I just suddenly realised I really hadn't heard it. I spent time in Memphis in all these places but it was very surreal. Like feeling all these feelings that belonged to past people walking down these same streets in another time. Do I really feel the way I feel? cher has a lot of great hits that i really like, i even own a couple her albums, but she had no business, none what so ever, doing this song! she butchered it. this is one of my all time favorite songs!! i cant help but smile even when some tone deaf wanna be sings a drunken version of it on karoke night, but this,...this is wretched!!! Cher should be very, VERY ashamed of herself!!! And she calls herself a musician? maybe it was true once, but this proves it to be false!
