  • I found a site that looks like it could be a good resource potentially for 3D Inventor Content, hopefully more stuff starts showing up. theSimpleConcept.ca

  • Can you do multiple parts at one time in FEA Simulation? Or would you have to split this up to run FEA?

  • @sethmckay1 it is possible, but I did not need this function. Can't say how.

  • how long did it take you to make this? looks very hard to do.

  • @Scerab A week or so, maybe two. It took me so long because this was the first time I used SolidWorks and had to learn it on the go. Everything was done from scratch.

  • @circuitdotlt now your just showing off :P. I am going to be going to school for mechanical engineering next year so i don't really know what the programs are like yet. are these programs easy to learn, or at least very similar to each other?

  • @Scerab indeed I am ;p

Solidworks is really easy to learn, especially if you have some video tutorials. AutoCAD is a lot more complex and it is way harder to do things compared to SolidWorks. I did this drawing with AutoCAD when I started with CAD design:

It was very time consuming job.

  • güzel bir çalışma

  • To see it built, check out my videos. Just run a search for "hexapod".

  • I like the design.and good drawing too.
