I was very interested in watching this episode as it has been written and directed by Michael Landon (like many other ones).
But the topic of this one is in reference of Dan Blocker, Michael's co-star on Bonanza for 13 years (6 months after Dan's sudden death at only 44, the show was canceled.) Dan was tall, overweight, a gentle giant and Michael loved him like a true brother. When Laura said : ''Dadburn!'' I started to cry. Dan must have said Dadburn 20 times every ep.
