very disorientating even when you know the field really well, the visibility got so bad it was only about 4 or 5m, you didn't know you'd got down to the top of the quad till it was right in front of you!

nice song choice. What format did the video record in? Final Cut Pro is a good app but I think there is a couple of unsupported formats that come straight from camera.

Hopefully next year will give me a better chance to go - I was going to go this year with a bunch of mates but that turned in to a major drama when a mate applied for leave and it got turned down. Bloody bastards! lol

Yeah, we were all pretty annoyed over that since he didn't see why they wouldn't turn down one day's leave - that's all he asked for, and still he got his application turned down. We just decided not to go based on the principal of the matter - we didn't feel we should go and have fun while he was stuck at work. Wasn't fair on him and we'd feel guilty.

So next year he's going to be prepared - he'll make sure he has a paid sick day free should that happen again next year. lol

hi Mon, try running the footage through iSquint, it might convert the audio to a format the Mac can use

yea u can buy those miner helmet (those ones with the torch on top) but one that is fastened by velcro so you can just simply replace the torch with a cam.

yes winters ended, its middle of Spring now (summer in 5 weeks yay) ! been a great season though for the snow,if you come over, google the Abel Tasman, that is beautiful!
