  • They can grind me.... hot! hot! hot! ;)

  • I add 3-4 almonds instead of adding oil. Almonds keep the color green for a longer time. Cilantro and Coriander leaves are interchangeable; similar to eggplant (USA) and brinjal (UK, India, etc)

  • how come i cant hear anuja....she wisper a lot....

  • how come i cant hear anuja....

  • @montisaroris,

no, it's called dhaniya chutney in hindi

  • I thought it was made out cilantro? I \'m making it with cilantro, that's how my mom taught me.

  • @jilijub

Coriander is also known as cilantro.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry

Cilantro is the herb, Coriander is the spice (whole, cracked, or ground seed). It is a common mistake.

  • @msayianna

That is true in here in the US, however, in some parts of the world, the word "cilantro" is not known. It is known as coriander leaves.

  • @msayianna

In the UK we do not use 'cilantro'. It is 'coriander' only.

    Please check your facts.

  • @msayianna wrong. in some countries such as the UK its known only as coriander leaves only

  • i love you both

  • thanks.... the tip on freezing was great.

  • good recipe, but why a fake american accent.... if u r indian be indian....

  • I know you said "you can it it with almost anything, but will taste good with rice?

  • @rainingreemz

You could take a little chutney and mix it with cooked white rice and make it "Cilantro Rice" but it really is not meant to be eaten with rice as a type of curry. It is more of a condiment.

  • Oh how wonderful!

  • hi there,

is this the same one they use in chutney sandwiches in Mumbai - if youre not aware of those no worries! its a Mumbai thing. If anyone else knows, the answer would be appreciated :)

  • Is coriander and cilantro the same thing? Are coriander seeds cilantro seeds?

  • Yes and yes.

  • @MysoreAshok i usually watch then see what mistake not to make .... i saw one video in which they added milk to some vegetable dish ...that was a big mess

  • @MysoreAshok Actually its a mixed bag ... i watch them to see what mistakes not to make ... some tips are fine though... once they added milk to some vegetable dish ..man that was gross and messy after that i have been very careful with what they say

  • Very Simple I really enjoyed & will make soon....store idea is fantastic

  • i havent ever made green chutney with jalapenos.i always used to add tomatoes along with lime juice in it and ginger.i'll try this it looks good.you guys should really make some vids of some chicken recipies.awesome vid btw

  • this is strange y u havent used groundnuts and green chillies and y green pepper and jalapenos?

  • Just a variation...jalepenos and green pepper give the bulk and texture without too much heat.

  • Indian food is Delicious! But is there some thing which is not spicy

  • Sure, just omit the red chili powder or green chilies in most recipes. In this recipe, skip the jalepenos and use just bell pepper and cilantro.

  • dhaniya we have that same recipe but we call it bandhaniya because it grows wild here hence the ban in front of the dhaniya

  • Wow.. I like the ice cubes idea..thanks!

  • thanks .please post some sandwich recipes.......

  • Thanks ladies!! Wonderful Chutney. Nice tip on the end too!! ill try the cubes and the oil next time i make this chutney!! Thanks again
