They are Scottish Folds. SFs are usually crossed with British Shorthairs or Scottish Straightears as 2 SFs cannot breed due to the mutation.

Those cats are scottish fold, sometimes kitten keep their normal ears and sometimes ears start bending down after a few weeks. British short hair cats don"d have fold ears, although both of them have round face. Cats 101 show gives you the right description of every type of cat.

Guys, stop arguing with the person that the cat is or isn't a Scottish Fold. First of all, I have 2 cats at home and their ears don't look like that. Those ears are definitely folded, just one time instead of two or three as sometimes happens. Secondly, in a litter of Scottish Folds - even the ones that don't have folded ears, are called Folds. It's a breed name. It's still in their family line, even if they don't have folded ears.

They're both scottish folded and brittish shorthair, since ANY folded is a mix of folded and some other race. You can't breed folded with folded since they would get too disformed in their bones and joints. Brittish shorthair is one of the most common race to mix with a folded to get offsprings.

@BaronCarro Actually you can breed folded(straight ear) with a folded (folded ear), but you're not supposed to breed two folded ears together. Every litter has a mix of folded ears and straight ears (called Scottish Straights) but they're still Scottish fold. However you're allowed to breed other breeds with Scottish Folds since there aren't many breeding Straights. So many Scottish Folds are mixes but not all.

Not to mention, they can be mixed with different breeds as long as you provide at least one parent with folded ears. In the UK I've found them hard to get hold of as we would love one too, they're supposed to be great house cats, if you get one make sure that its parents are NOT both folds as theres a high risk it getting a bone fusing disease in later life.

As it being a Show type this breed as far as I am aware is sadly not eligible for showing.
