I think the vaizards under-estimated ichigos hollow powers. In his fight vs Ulquiorra Ichigo attains a new power. He is so strong its sweet, he has horns! He uses Cero and uses Sonido rather than Shunpo. I assume he has Hiero (iron skin) too.

No I don't think they can really...It's just sorta weird how their masks only last for a few mins then disappear. Idk why Hirako turned his mask off either...it made no sense...Why wouldn't they all just immediately go to level 2 and then kill everything? Maybe they are trying to make it more suspenseful, but it seems like they are just weak...idk. Doesn't take that much power to kill menos. We'll see how they do vs the Espada...I'm sceptical.

Yeah I sorta agree, but im just confused about the current battle. Why did shinji remove his mask when he appeared by Aizen? And why can't the rest of them hold their masks for more that a few mins? But regardless, they are all captains or lieutenants, so they don't even NEED the hollow powers, but still, their hollow powers confuse me.

I kind of understand why Shinji took of his mask when he talked to Aizen is some kind of pride,but I am very sure they are much more stronger then they look I mean look at this amv for example they fight toe to toe with ichigos vizard which is much more stronger then ichigo that its self tells us something!

he didnt kill it he only injured it, and he actually was only able to absorb the cero it shot because his unreleased zanpaktou is huge and can store alot of spirit energy. and then uryu was the one who shot it, if i remember correctly. ichigo kind of got lucky that he was able to survive an encounter with one. the vizards on the othe hand are dispatchin MANY quickly, with little effort.
