  • No, sorry it's more like.. "with a chuff, chuff, chuff. With a chuff..chuff?...

    chuff..." *SACK*

  • "With a chuff... Chuff?"

  • 7:05 is hilarious....

  • I sure did that thing.

  • i love them! I wanted to be born in the 60s and in England

  • "...

If I were not in the CID, a window cleaner, me.

    ...

    With a rub-a-dub-dub and a scrub-a-dub-dub, I'd sing this merry song."

That sounds like an existential contradiction. If Dim were a window cleaner, he wouldn't sing this song about how he wishes he were a window cleaner, because he'd actually be one.

It's not a complete existential contradiction because it is possible (however daft) to wish to be something you already are (assuming that being the same thing twice is redundant).

  • The words are: if I were not in the CID I would like to be a window cleaner. There´s nothing else to it semantically.

  • Woah. Your brain is, like, huge. I'm just content enough with watching Graham dancing around ^.^

  • I'm not complaining. I like existential contradictions. I think they're funny.

I have never heard the term "existential contradiction" in my life.

  • Why did deadparrot77 cut the posted video right before the knight followed through with the chicken-slapping? Or did that happen in the actual sketch?

  • I didn't - it finishes with the chicken on his head.

  • You're right. After taking a closer look, I realized that the end-of-video related-videos panel appears too quickly to get a good look at the last half-second.

  • Cleese is brilliant, "with a chuff chuff chuff and a chuff chuff chuff ........ chuff? .......whooo?" love at the end, he is like "chuff (no?)..... whoo (no?)" hehe

  • It´s a good sketch but Eric is spitting when he says "freedom".

  • what was it that cleese says when he firsts enters the room?

  • He says "Sorry I'm late, m'lud, I couldn't find a kosher car-park"

  • "It's only a bloody parking offense."

  • "i swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so anyway..." LMFAO

  • "to what aspect must the drowsy Apricot be tied!"

    "Aowii"

  • for all its brilliance...it takes 8 mins to get one laugh from the live audience

  • So they already laugh at 0:40 but you didn't hear that did you?

  • with a ruba dab dab and a scruba dab dab

  • Graham Chapman is brilliant as always.

  • london is so beautiful this time of year

  • OMG, I love John Cleese! Haha, the ending was amazing!

also: "You are too clever for us naughty people." I crack up every time I hear that! :D

  • wtf that was insane i luv python

  • "FREEDOM FREEDOM FREEDOM!" "it's only a bloody parking offence" =D =D

  • i love all Grahams bits in this one-especially the song =P

  • it's not a rabbit it's a chicken! the chicken knight

  • Dim of the yard! LMAO!

  • I like John Cleese's expressions throughout the entire thing. xD When Chapman's presenting, he's like, 'o^o!'

  • yeah that's soo great!!! his face!!! :D

  • i love Grahm Chapman in this "I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so anyway.."

  • Curse you inspector dim! You are too clever for us naughty people.

    lol

  • Omg, Cleese at the end! xD

And.. a kinght and a dead rabbit? Love it.

    Palin was hot here. :3

  • that's so fucking senseless XD

  • Haha.

    The end is the best.

  • i actually found this one a little bit boring

  • This is my favorite show of all time.

  • This is one of my favorite sketches, rest in peace Graham.
