@TheMrSpartanking My nintendo 64 has lasted longer than my xbox 360 and ps3 combined, when a game or the console doesn't work all you have to do is blow on it and it works fine. when an xbox or ps3 fucks up you have to send it away for a month and fork out to fix it. when a disk scratches you have to buy a new one or pay to get it cleaned. The games on the N64 are classic, Games nowadays are just shoved down our throats, there is no soul put into them, thank you nintendo for the years of fun :D

But hey, you gotta give them credit for actually fixing their mistakes rather than just bringing out a branded TV just to boost the amount of cash their bringing in. I'd rather get myself a Panasonic or Samsung 40" TV and never 3D game (3D is a once every now and then thing for me, my eyes feel really weird with the glasses on). But even 3D gaming would be more fun on a big TV :)

@massivekrusher Probably the biggest bullshit I've heard. The fail rate is high, but not that high and not that soon. Most Xboxes can run for 5 hours without dying, the only ones that can't are the old ones. I've had my Xbox on for 7 hours some days, I once even had it on all night, but I don't know how it was on considering I turned it off. I knew a guy who had his on constantly, he literally never turned it off and other people who've had it on for a long time. Never any problems :)

I've had mine a year now, no problem, the problem usually happens to people ALWAYS playing, laid down in an enclosed space. It's the users fault. Being cheaper is a good thing really, but the fact that the Xbox is still selling more means it is winning. You can justify it how you wish. Xbox is still selling more and has grown A LOT in the last few months.
