من در پنج سال پیش هم که برای اولین بار این نامه را خواندم در مقاله ای به واقعیت داشتن این نامه شک داشتم ! چرا که مضمون این نامه اگر واقعیت هم عینی هم داشته باشه به سبک و سیاق امروزی ترجمه شده و عباراتی در آن بکار برده شده که نمی تواند مربوط به ادبیات زبان و فرهنگ مردم ما در آن دوران بوده باشد !
جدای از این اگر هم این نامه با همین مضمون صحت داشته باشه، با این تفاسیر باید گفت یزدگرد سوم با این طرز سخیفانه نامه نوشتنش در پاسخ به نامه عمر به وی که محترمانه او را دعوت به دین اسلام کرده است،در واقع عمر را تحریک نموده که به ایران شدید ترحمله نماید !
من امیدوارم که این نامه واقعیت تاریخی نداشته باشه چون اگر حقیقت باشه و یزد گرد سوم براستی چنین پاسخی را به عمر داده باشه، باعث شرمندگی ما ایرانیان است، چرا که این نامه نشان می دهد در آن زمان،از چنان فرهنگ پایینی ما برخوردار بودیم که پادشاه مان با چه لحن توهین آمیز و زننده ای صحبت می کرده و نامه می نوشته است !
در پایان به عنوان یک ایرانی ضمن آنکه حمله عمر را به سرزمین خویش محکوم می نمایم ولی برخلاف برخی از هموطنانم که به دلیل حملات دولت های عربی به ایران کینه کوری را از عربها به دل گرفته اند، من جنایت دولت های عربی را به پای ملت های شان نمی گذارم ! همانطورکه که جنایات چنگیز خان مغول را به پای ملت مغول و جنایات دولت فاشیت آلمان را به پای ملت آلمان، جنایات دولت آمریکا در ویتنام و دیگر کشورهای جهان را به پای ملت آمریکا و همچنین جنایات ارتش شاهنشاهی ی ایران را در سرکوبی ی ملت عمان به پای ملت ایران !

Can you please provide a citation? You said they exist in a London Museum. Which Museum? What is the call number? reference number?
I am an Iranian Student of Near Eastern Studies working on my Phd so if it does exist, then i'm sure you can give me a citation for it. Even give me the title of an academic book that cites it as a source and I can look up the rest myself from there.

Let me line it up for everyone so you understand. Persians were very advanced, civilized, honoured the creator (CALL HIM WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT), we had tolerance, equality and a pure vision for the globe. Arabs have never had a fraction of our apreciation of human live and never will have. Greeks were good at defending, and quran is not as pure and fair as zoroastrianism. I don't have a very detaild info about the Kashmir issue, however I know that they clash so often at the border and Indians say that Jihadies/infiltrators keep crossing the border and Pakistan says they want to free Kashmir from opression & cruelty of Hindu Indians to have an Azad Kashmir.

Sorry it is not personal. It is just frustration :(
We got rid of the mogul culture, Greek culture, etc. but don't seem to be able to get rid of the Arab culture.
In addition, the frustration arises from the fact that everyone is still cursing all the invaders ie. Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan but not the Arab conquerers ... well at least not polite company :)
It is a cultural thing... I hope that the Arabs won't be cursing the Israelis a 1000 years from now!!
