The game would be perfect if they added the grab from cover(like doorway in double agent) because i am in situations where the come through the door way and i just wish there was that move. Also i would love to see whistle and emp pistol to shut down lights.But it is what it is and i still absolutely love it. My rating is 10 out of 10 :)
I get the comparison between Metal Gear solid and Splinter cell. While clearly Sc is inspired from MGS, they definitely are very different games and pretty much most aspects while both being action-stealth. Certainly 2 of the best games of the genre along with hitman and thieves. Now as far as core stealth is concerned, no doubt the first 3 splinter cells relied much more on stealth than mgs ever did. Not saying one is better than the other for that reason..it just a fact.

this game has lost my respect. STOP changing your minds every few months. How about just brainstorm first what you want in a game or ask a few old splinter cell players what the game should have. I have both an Xbox 360 and a PS3, and I bought Splinter Cell: Conviction yesterday, but saying the PS3 has no good games is absolute cow crap and you know it. So far I've played two levels of Conviction -- three if you include the downloadable demo -- and as good as it is so far, I can tell it's still not in the same league as MGS4. (Having SAID that, Metal Gear was recently dethroned as my favourite game of all time by the amazing Mass Effect 2, so that proves I'm not a PS3 fanboy.)

in this he does a couple of shots to take out one guy maybe, and its quicker too
in the finished game its one shot per-person and slower
(which i think doesn't look so cool)

I have both an Xbox 360 and a PS3, and I bought Splinter Cell: Conviction yesterday, but saying the PS3 has no good games is absolute cow crap and you know it. So far I've played two levels of Conviction -- three if you include the downloadable demo -- and as good as it is so far, I can tell it's still not in the same league as MGS4. (Having SAID that, Metal Gear was recently dethroned as my favourite game of all time by the amazing Mass Effect 2, so that proves I'm not a PS3 fanboy.)

i was torn between which game to get on my birthday (28th of feb), this or the new AvP, i thought to myself why i want the games... well.... i love anything were you are the hunter.. pop out from shadow... few shots... hide... grab sum one and kill em personally... the sort of stuff a predator should be doing! i used to think the only way to play a predator was to play a predator game.... that just changed.... this is a revolutionary system of stealth and i hope its not underestimated!
