Communism does make sense on paper. Socialism makes sense on paper, as does the Republic theory, Democracy and Theocracy and every other governmental theory. Social theories do NOT account for individual greed, laziness or any other negative aspects of humanity. They propose the mechanics of a theory and how it SHOULD work.

Actually it only makes sense on paper to braindead drones. It makes no sense whatsoever. Why would anyone want "the people" to have control over property and production? Who is the people who speaks for the people? Fuckin durrrr. It sounds like tyranny on paper too. Individual rights make sense on paper. Private property makes sense on paper. The creation of wealth and the right to the fruits of ones labor makes sense on paper, Whoopie "cushion" Goldberg. ('the frog blower').

@KingDingaLing090 what are you talking about. Everyone working and everyone having their needs met makes perfect sense. That's communism on paper. She points out that when you insert the human element into it, it no longer works. That's why we have to have so many checks and balances and even then, our representative democracy doesn't work like it should. Everyone SHOULD remain informed and vote for what's best for everyone, but you insert the "I want someone to take care of me" mentality...

And that is an extremely limited and simplistic view of communism. What do you mean when the human element is inserted into it? It is purely human, created by humans for humans. @KingDingaLing090 Obviously, you're a very high strung individual. Social theories do not have a human element. Theories don't compensate for greed or the other negative aspects of human kind. Communism requires WORK from everyone and everyone has their needs met. No one was talking about Socialism, which is different. Capitalism (my preferred method) allows people to rise and fall based on their ability and hard work. Both are good on paper.

Obviously communism requires work, that is the only way to get your "needs met." No actually socialism is not different. Communism is an advanced state of socialism. The word "Social" means humans living together. And finally YES communism is advanced socialism. Those are facts.
