Not amazing but defiantly not a negative rating worth. It's always interesting to see what other artists mess around with especially if you want to preview gear you're considering buying. So, not bad. Thank you for sharing.
I totally get these people about using old breaks in an easy way... But still like the sound of a good ol' drum loop with a Kaoss Pad. What was I gonna say..? Oh yeah, I get these peeps, but I also get it that the Amen is irresistible...
cool too bad i totally destroy the amen break on my esx-1. dont buy so much gear until you learn one piece of it inside and out. cutting at steps 1, 7, and 13 is for n00bs.
Thats more gear than I will ever own... Midi triggers, keyboard, guitar soft synths and sequencers.... I'd LOVE an MC 505 IF I could afford it now, lol....
The sequencer is playing all breaks simutaneously. I am merely soloing each one by pressing the buttons. They were not accurately chopped to be begin with. Good ear.
theAfterlife: you could use chaos pad with guitar but you need to send guitar to amp first and line out to chaos pad and then line in to you speakers. Not like a stomp box, more like a rack mounted effects processor.
the X y Axis is the up-down siude to side on the oad itself, controls the effects. hit me up if you want to know more, I have had several of these toys. they are great fun. I have one hooked to my TV right now for 'playing around'
korg. The touch screen is a gate to effects, and there are several effects mapped to the x,y axis. Lots of delays, flangers, pitch effects etc.. one of the best pieces in my kit at the moment. I use it on every tune.

What's a Kaos pad? What's the X,Y, Axis? I play guitar and Matt Bellamy from Muse has a Mason with a Kaos pad and I was seriously considering buying it but I can't if I don't even know whether this thing is worth the money.
So you're considering buying something when you don't even know what it is? And how do you not know what the X and Y axis are? Haven't you ever taken a math class?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I do. I'm really good at math, actually. I don't know ANYTHING about this Kaoss Pad other than it costs around 250 USD. I don't know if the X and Y axis you are talking about here are the same used in math and I really don't understand anything about mapping effects to these axis.
But thanks for not answering my question, you useless moron.
the kaos pad is like a touchscreen multi effect pedal instead of a stomp box or pedal you run your finger on the glowing screen the x y axis is the hight and width of the screen
@ukyfug except its REALLY preset sounding and everyone has it. i recommend doing your own thing and making your own sound instead of going for the cheesy easy
for sure, but drum break was time stretched, eq'd, compressed etc. Then trimmed up to fit the bar/time. Then different segments were assigned to different pads. It was not to show skill, but merely for fun. I hope you experienced that emotion watching. It was not to upset...
That's pretty awesome. I guess most DJs work with their drum breaks like this. Some of the crazy breakcore artists like Venetian Snares must have tons of breaks loaded into their samplers though; every measure seems to sound like a different beat.
dont understand where the amen is coming from?

if your instrument is going to be like 4 buttons, the least you can do is stay on beat with them...

I didn't answer your question because it wasn't asked to me. I don't know anything about the Kaoss pad, I was merely pointing out your stupidity.

If you know the answer you should still tell people, even if they didn't ask you. But still.. mmmm.. guess I lost the argument there.
