Who's comparing Russian people? They are "people" and people are all the same species. This violinist is in his prime, and therefore everything goes smoothly. This violin piece is nevertheless, Spanish, in the style of Sarazate. Yep! I see another comment with the exact title. Excellent performance, and a unique view angle by the video camera!

Egor Gzechishnikov is truly outstanding,.between him and the young Czech violinist Jiri Vodicka, this generation is assured of having some absolutely wonderful violinsts..

I wish that the quality of this recording were a bit better, and I truly hope that somehow more of Egor Gzechishnikov's playing may become available.
