Just wanted to give you a heads up. We had a wonderful PRO Israel rally in Helsinki today. Thousands there. At least 2,000 maybe 4,000? It was so wonderful. The Israeli ambassador was there and very impressed. It really did his heart good to know many people love realize Israel is a good and honorable nation. The blocade is absolutely lawful in stopping enemy nations from sending war material and weapons into Israel. No nation would stand for illegal weapons entering their ports and land.

Not only were these people not "activists" but aid workers.
Furthermore the Israelis illegally boarded the boats in international waters and went on to execute people on the ships.
The videos show the activists fighting back, which was wrong, but it does not show the Israelis shooting rubber bullets and live ammunition from the helicopters BEFORE boarding the ship.
Taking sides in this conflict is stupid, both sides are as idiotic as the other.

They were stopped by a blockade aimed at starving the Arab people into submission, which has been condemned on an international level.

The blockade is in no way lawful. An example of a lawful blockade was the Cuban blockade in 1962. There was a serious risk of nuclear materials getting into Cuba, thus a blockade was formed.
This blockade does nothing but antagonize the people of Gaza.
To be fair the ship was stupid for allowing idiots on board and to then allow them to attack the IDF.
But in this scenario Israel has no defense.

It is sited & criticized in many news papers. The 7th ship (Rachel Corrie) is documented to contain "Medical Supplies and Construction Material" They chose Concrete because it sounds benign.
