Where do i download directx 11 ? I have bought a 6850 video card and a gigabyte am3 socket motherboard, but neither of them have given me a cd/dvd with directx 11 on it, does it come preloaded in windows 7 ? i directly upgrading from xp and dx9 to 7 so i've got no idea where i can get dx11...i've tried to search online but all i could find was sdk developer packages and dx9 runtime environment...

@imfxxz you don t have to dawnload direcx t any more .....is included inthe video driver four your grafic card . make sure theat you install the new version from the driver!!!!! and not the one from your cd ....and four the games-- you will be promted to install aditional directx files if your directx is older then the one the game need it ....metro 2033 and stalker are the only games using tessalation four the moment.

@imfxxz that fool has no idea what hes talking about, Direct X 11 is included in win7, you dont need to install anything, but i would seriously check the Windows Update funktion cuz there should be alot of DX11 updates within
