it sounds like he adds a couple of extra notes in the distortion part of the song when the vocals break in between verses... am i crazy? it sounds like a couple of extra (awesome) notes added from the clean verse that plays without them
Kurt made up the song Class of '86 (aka Buffy's Pregnant) because I was Class of '86 and we met and worked with INXS on songs. Buffy is Tim Farriss of INXS high school sweetheart Bethany Anne ( Buffy) Reefman.
@thenewpollution2 Hate to jump in,but not EXACTLY the same song. While it's "official" name is Verse Chorus Verse, there's also another version of Verse Chorus Verse on the box set With The Lights Out that sounds just like this one but with different lyrics. It's likely,I'd guess, that "In His Hands/Verse Chorus Verse" is an early (Or possibly later) version of the fore-mentioned version on the box set.
It's interesting how easy it is to listen to this once "Rare" stuff. I mean I'm from the old school. I remember being 16 in 1994/1995 and dishing out between 40 to 60 bucks to get just one Nirvana bootleg cd. I remember once my father wouldn't let me get one b/c it was too expensive. He said, "Don't waste your money." Back then it took a lot of time, effort, searching record stores for imports, and money to listen to these recordings now you can just type it in youtube and boom it comes up.
@TomEvision - absolutely. spending hours trying to find these and finding money to buy them.
Without zines, I never would've known that Kurt Ralske was the next big thing in '88. Somethings can't be replaced and like you, researching was great and rewarding.
