  • As long as battery development doesn´t arrive in the modern age this is useless. Same for cars btw.

  • ในประเทศไทยจะมีจำหน่ายหรือเปล่าน้อ...

  • very good idea

  • Now develop the sail & pilot's uniform to have flexible solar-cells + combine with a small prototype 'bloom-box' and you have constant power being supplied to the batteries. ;)

  • @MrTenshihanQuinn I have seen a news artical on infra red solar cells which due to them relying on infrared light they even work in the dark :)

  • even if it was only like 30 minutes u could go really high and glide the rest of the way to your destination... id stop in random places to grab lunch different spot everyday

  • @keyfromEY

    ...oh really...

  • The big problem with PPG (especially in Germany) is the noise. With an electric engine this is better. And if you search in Wiki for "Lithium_air_battery", you can see that it's going forward with batteries.

As a next step Helix should learn something about bionics and low-noise propellers...

  • i bet 25 mins is the very best duration you will get.

  • @gilessmokey yeah right

  • je ne comprends pas pourquoi electrique ... si apres tu fais marcher le compresseur pendant 2 h a gasoil ..... rine ne vaut un rotron bien puissant ... je me trompe ?

  • Does the electric motor give you better performance when the density altitude is high compared to gas?

  • @JustPlaneNuts I would imagine so, becuase it is not susceptible to airparticle densities, but propeller will grab the air less at higher altitudes, but that can be countered with variable-pitch/constant speed prop.

the Icarus is an electric flying wing that flies 100,000ft high!!!

  • 2 hours of generator to fly 30 minutes....really good for environment!!!

  • wow thats pretty awesome!

  • How long does the battery last?

  • @Ethan102224 30 min

  • Whoah, yes you DO need ear plugs man. Don't say crap like that. The electric paramotor is just as loud as a Flat Top 200 Simonini because it is the prop that makes the noise, not the engine. The all electric Flat Top turns the exact same prop as the Simonini powered units and the noise is about the same. You WILL damage your ears if you fly without earplugs. The electric Flat Top has been out about 3 years now. Glad to see others are playing with it too. Too bad it isn't as good as gas..

  • decibels?

  • sympa, ca l'air vraiment plus pratique...

  • What is the weight and power of this paramotor?
