  • Those harmonies are siiiiiiiiick! Awesome!

  • I love Old Crow..and this song ....awesome Bluegrass 5***** post thanks for sharing Aussie :):)

  • Unreal this band love em to bits everything bout em is quality

  • these guys are the freaking best!!!!!!!! cant believe this video doesn't have 1 million views

  • I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this group before! Love the harmony! Willie Watson & Ketch Secor are such handsome guys with tons of talent. When they do my next go round I swear I could cry!

  • What kind of fiddle is Ketch playing?

  • Love Willie Watson. Is he still with OCMS? I saw them recently on The Marty Stuart Show and I don't think he was with them. Great song - never tired of hearing it.

  • This was the first episode of this show I ever watched. Immediately loved it.

  • what kind of microphone do they use on this? does anyone know the make/model? they're great!

  • @holynoise vintage RCA 44b ribbon mike. Not particularly rare, but quite old and very sought after... and extremely expensive.

  • is it wrong that i think willie watson is very handsome hahhaha

  • I wish I could grow my hair like Willie.....

  • Pretty tame performance by by this bunch--watch some of the other videos.....

  • An instant favorite. A must add to any collection. This is the best version of a great song.

  • One of the best tunes I've ever heard

  • Ketch Secor kind of looks like the actor Rob Lowe

  • @BambooLulu lol I've always thought he was veryyyy cute.

  • effin brilliant

  • Amazing.

  • His voice is flawless. Classic country sound.

  • Holyshit these guys are good.

  • SOMEBODY FEED WILLIE!!

  • Marty stuart comes to the watseka theatre watseka illinois on july 2, 2011.

  • I'm quietly proud of the fact that OCMS have achieved this level of musicianship. What a defining live performance. The vocals are stellar. For all their history of rawness and energy, to be able to pull off an original song to this quality on live TV is a real achievement. All credit to them.

  • cats ass. the best song ever sung.

  • this is by far the best performance of this song by ocms!

  • The Chicago Transit Authority of roots music. Love 'em.

  • this is way better than the studio version. willie's voice just blows my mind

  • a sexy fiddler? what a concept!

  • What a really nice song by these guys

  • At first I wasn't so sure. His voice sounded like it shouldn't come out of him. I continued to listen and wow. Excellent! The song and them. Nice surprise for me.

  • my favs!!!!

  • Wow, what a voice, and such great talent from some great young guys..

  • Willie Watson is to OCMS as John Lennon is to the Beatles, except Watson can actually sing.

  • @tewindavis you infer Lennon on the hand, can't sing? I'm hardly one of the politically-correct JL apologist crowd but he had one of the better voices in rock music.

  • fine medicine for a broken heart.praise god for the old crow medicne show.aye

  • @househarr Hang in there..God is good, He will be for all believers in the end

  • What talent in these young men. I love this. And of course Marty Stuart is my sweetie still too.

  • This is an amazing song....I love OCMS!!!

  • WIllie Watson's voice is maturing into one of a very, very fine country singer.

  • sweet

  • These guys are just awesome,I was waiting for Hank back their against the wall to start harmonizing with them, hahaha

  • this is amazing!!

  • incredible quality (not to mention the talent!)

  • wow mesmorizing

  • Dont get me wrong about ol' watson there I love em, but ketch has to be a better musician, he can play fiddle, guitar, mandolin, harmonica and banjo and he sings the better sings by ocms. and willie can only play guitar and fiddle

  • @Downsouthdipper I don't think anyone would dispute that Ketch is a great musician. It isn't a competition you know!

  • thats about as good as it gets

  • Great group. Ketch receives a well deserved round of applause for his fiddle work on this one...not to take anything away from Willie's vocal lead.

  • even the rednecks know there ain't no re intarnation ...check the applause at 3:07

  • That shot looks just like Hank is playing with them! He'd like them too!

  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't keep this all to myself.

  • real music period not that bullshit new country crap

  • In this song Willie Watson sounds like his phrasing is a bit like John Denver's...Brilliant song well sung by a great group.

  • nCorelli: glad you are enjoying them, I love them too!

  • I've never been a bluegrass/folk/country lover at all. To be honest I've detested a lot of twangy southern music in my day. But I simply can't get enough of this stuff. It's tough not to sit and smile with something this awesome in your ears.

    OCMS you've converted me.

  • man, eddie stubbs sure is wierd lookin!!!

  • This is some really beautiful music, God I love his voice!

  • that is some amazing stuff right there

  • Shame on the people running the music industry....this is a unique & highly talented band but they were not given the respect & recognition they truly deserved.

  • where are these guys from. SOmeone told me they're from raleigh, nc but i dont really know SO THAT WHY IM ASKING THIS FUCKING QUESTION OK?!??! GOD!!!

  • Founding members met in Virginia. Spent a lot of time in the Northeast (New York, Maine, New Hampshire) and eventually got their break while playing in North Carolina. Eventually relocated to Nashville where most of the recording has been done.

I would say they're from the United States of America. And then I would say they are from a place more awesome than most.

  • what happened to critter fuqua

  • critter doesn't play live with them but he's still with the band

  • This is beyond great, best yet...what a voice and harmony.

  • SUPERB!!!!!!

  • Ketch has a body to die for.

  • Gotta hand it to you Yanks, you make the sweetest music, great band and particularly like his voice.

  • Love OCMS! Marty's my favorite, first saw OCMS at a Marty show. Willie's the best.

  • awesome!

  • Anyone know what happened to Critter? Gil is great and all but its just not the same.

  • Great song! Did OCMS write it? It's so old time.

  • willie watson ....awesome singer /musician ....great artist ...this is his best ever ....!!!!!! elsmarie

  • He should have never cut his hair....Best version of this song I've heard by them ever

  • @warrenst1955 wow their good

  • @warrenst1955 I couldn't agree More... Keep up the good work and let me set in next time you're in Seattle Area... @KarlReidArtist

  • @warrenst1955

    you're not far wrong

  • Comment removed

  • @Gutbean Yeah, you are right. This song calls for this kind of vocal from him. If Down Home Girl was the song, the vocal is more his style..for sure.

  • @Gutbean

who wrote this shit about pandering? "ain't ocms" wtf that mean?

  • @warrenst1955

I rarely, RARELY, ever play a song more than once or twice; but this song IS a total masterpiece.

This is what I want my band to be.

  • @warrenst1955 Dont get me wrong...soo good. But I'm partial to We're All In This Together.

  • 3:49

just pause it and stare for as long as you can. its weird. hes weird. help me.

  • Can't wait to see them next week in Knoxville, Tennessee! Long drive, but, worth every mile... Play on!

  • ill be there! cant wait!

  • Did you make it to the show? It was INCREDIBLE!

  • heck yes i made it, it was a pretty awesome show i will admit, well worth 3 and a half hour drive!

  • It's called NEXT GO ROUND

  • What's the name of this song? lt's beautiful!!

  • is that a full size resonator? does anyone know what brand that might be?

  • You should enjoy it, but, lose the profanity. I'm sure it impresses no one.

  • fuckin' a, right?

    right

  • Circumstances put them in an un- enviable position. Bottom line is that Critter's gone and I wish him well. Saw them in Columbia, mo. and it was a memorable night. Play on!

  • ok...? CIRCUMSTANCES... well now we have an answer.. thanks alot man

  • It's not my place to air their laundry. I respect his privacy and feel that saying more about it would be wrong. I'm sure that someone out there could tell you more, it just won't be me.

  • why say anything at all then?

  • I thought it might help some people to know that he is dealing with his demons. God, I can't believe you can't figure that out...

  • "Circumstances put them in an un- enviable position."

Yeah you did make it pretty obvious he is "dealing with his demons" sorry i even asked jackass.. im just going to enjoy the song now goodbye

  • good question. Where is Critter. I saw OCMS in Iowa a couple of years ago and he was there and then last year in St.Paul and Milwaukee he was missing.

  • Willie's voice melts me. He seems like a really nice guy, too!

  • Does anybody know who wrote this song?

  • in the cover of Tennessee Pusher it says Secor/Watson, but for some reason i dont think they wrote it

  • Thanks, its a great song by whoever wrote it.

  • One of the best country songs i have heard the OCMS do. Brilliant!!

  • willies amazing.

as are the rest of the guys.

  • One of my favorite songs. Love Willie. Thanks Marty for keeping country country. You are the greatest.

  • One of my favorites!

  • wheres critter?

  • God bless marty stuart and what he's doing with his show.

today's "country" music should be taking lessons from OCMS on how to do country right. their music has real soul...it ain't all about projecting some kind of image.

  • Willie is on point!

  • I love Willie Watson's voice, but this recording takes it to another level. Old Crow is awesome, but Mr. Watson in particular is exceptionally gifted. I also particularly like his voice in The Weight with Gillian Welch. If you haven't seen it, you should.

  • I have watched his vocal part in that version of the song about 9,000 times, it's just so incredible I can't believe it.

  • @sawtoothdan his voice is out of this world! He was a traveling minstrel in another life or something

  • @sawtoothdan ketch secor is just as talented if not more than talented than willie watson though (:

  • I agree. I just can't believe how flawless they are. Especially live!

  • I cant stop listening to this song....man everytime i hear it, it gets better and better.

  • luv these guys come to salt lake city

  • great song

  • this is the best willie watson has ever sung. He's great singer, but this is the best.

  • love willie's voice, and he is in top form in this performance.

  • old crow is the baddest band around

i've been listening to them for years

they are the best i love them

    ben williams

  • I'm gonna need some help!

I think I'm Addicted to this song!!!

    Excellant Video & Song

  • mother of god what is the name of this song

  • It's "Next Go Round" ...off of the new album "Tennessee Pusher"

  • I miss Criter but that's great!

  • Is he still with the band? Whats up

  • I miss Crit too. No one ever talks about where he is?

  • i think ketch and gillian talk about it on the new album, track 4. just a guess.

  • are you saying "methamphetamine" is an inference to why he no longer plays with them? i remember the first time i ever saw them play live (sellersville theatre--sellersville, pennsylvania)...COME BACK BOYS!!! anywho, ketch and crit weren't there. it was david rawlings fillin in for ketch, and maybe it was gil landry doin' crit's thing. this was in 2005.

  • I really hope you are wrong about that.

  • OCMS Kicks Butt!!!

    Thanks Marty!

Love - Jimmy - the Deadlies
