Jeremi Powell, arguably the most underrated player in Tampa Bay’s Class of 2012, has landed on the recruiting radar, picking up his first two offers this week.
The Pinellas Park junior was offered by Iowa State and Purdue, and coach Kenny Crawford said he expects more to come.
Powell, a versatile 6-2, 200-pounder who was a first-team all-county pick, was a destructive force on both sides of the ball last season.
This kid has it all...Size, Speed, Aggresiveness, Intensity...
He is dominate on both sides of the ball...has sacks, tackles for loss, pass breakups, interceptions...
He runs the ball hard and has great vision and can get to the outside, also a very strong WR prospect who cannot be jammed at the line of scrimmage and can out run and jump most db's.

Offers from Purdue, Iowa State, ...FSU is all over him, so are many other schools. This kid is the best kept secret in the Tampa Bay Area !
