Yo!!! the game play was horrible man. To me it seems a waste of time due to all the shit that is going on and stuff and on top of that the time limit is just ridicules. But all in all it is a step forward because the proves game was a fighting on this one is a sidesplitting sidescroller.

If you want to play this download two things get the fusion emulator, plays sega genesis,master system,game gear,and sega cd games, you can get this from coolrom.com also the game then after you download the emulator goto the roms section at coolrom.com look for sega genesis, goto the M section then find MMPR the movie download then load the rom onto the emulator and done.

Loved how Sega put the Fight song, Green/White ranger theme, Lord Zedd's theme, We Need a Hero, White Ranger Tiger Power, and of course the power rangers theme.

I find it kind of amazing (even though I haven't played either game) that the Super Nintendo game Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie doesn't seem to have stuff from the movie whereas this game looks strictly based on the movie.

@Predatorocks By far (at least to me) the neatest things about this game is the music. The music is practically an exact emulation of what you hear in the show. For instance in the cave level "We Need a Hero" is rendered masterfully. And let's not forget the wonderful remix of Zed's theme. This is one time that the Super NIntendo failed to the Sega.

Because let's face it the movie game for SNES was crap. I am sorry but it was. In the SNES the music was horrid and the game overall was just difficult. I mean even in Ranger form 1 hit would take a good ammount of your life away. The putty design was also much better in this version.

i think the rangers look more detaild in this version of the game than in the snes one. you can see that the pink ranger has her skirt, where as in the snes version she doesnt. sound and color are better on the snes tho.

this game is not bad, but i prefer the snes version over this. here is why:

in the snes version, you begin the level as a teenager and you need to morph into a power ranger, you don't start the level as the power ranger.

also, you just fight the oozemen and putty patrollers and that's it.
