As for ur speech here on second homes then makes me one of em cause i did own 3 but got rid of them cause of the agro.. being a landlady was a nightmare.Tenants have too many rights..like.. they are sent rent cheques (housing benifits) and can do as they please with it to spend as they want..no questions asked and especially by the housing benifit.

Hey!!Did u know that all males that reach the good ole age of 60 (not 65) on job seekers allowance are automatically pensioned off with a fruitfull £118.00 a week?...That's their pocket money...£118.00 is their spending money as council tax and water rates are paid by their private landlady or landlord

The proposed Bill seems worthy. Geared to Tax payers as suggested with power over the rhetoric & bulls.t of Local & Central Government. Who can blame those who misunderstand your speech, they see any interest shown by politicians as manipulation & interference. The Bill would be a massive change in Constitutional Law & Governance. Giving us rights over our legislatures. I for one would be right behind you in this endeavour

I am against giving more direct power to local councils they already cause enough problems. They get bullied by supermarkets and other big business. The tactic they use is throwing application after application at the planning committee until they get their own way. Local people have little influence in council decisions. The money they get from Whitehall can only be spent in a certain way so the council feel the need to spend it whether its wanted or needed locally.

It's wrong to say local councils have the answers to Ghost Town Britain and this is all central government's fault. Local Councils are playing their destructive part just as much and they're certainly not interested in local shops. Don't be fooled by these well-intentioned ideas from powerless people, nothing is going to change from the unethical people in power.
