If nothing else the introduction of an assembly line to do batches of one step at a time would be a start. Then automating the individual step one by one until you have robots building the robots. It can be done. Ask Henry Ford.
@cymonsgames The product is design to be assembled as a kit by hand. If you were to automate the build, the design of the machine would likely change to make it easier for machines to assemble. For example, through-hole components would probably be replaced with surface mounts that a pick-n-place machine can more dependably place without wiggling those leads to the right positions. Seems likely that the case would have major changes also.
