I think that whole "music is better with pot" mindset is bullshit. I'm not necessarily anti-drug, but i hate the idea that the music itself isn't good enough and you need artificial enhancements to improve it. Honestly, an imaginative mind combined with creative music can create awesome soundscapes and things, it's really cool and fun.

What with shortening attention spans across the board it seems to me the drug is becoming quit useful...i mean "The Wall' is a great album but it's a lot easier to listen to the whole thing straight through when your high...at least, that's drawing from my experiences

Those are a bunch of the 'classics'.

Check out the band furthur, few of these guys are still alive and playing. They play almost all grateful dead songs.

Everything they did from '66 to '73 is the best stuff. 1966 being very early and there is a box set of all these albums and rare tracks I assume- set is called "The golden Road". Its expensive-like so much Dead stuff. I dont have the set. I have records and CDs. But youll probably like just about any Dead songs. I just favor the earlier stuff. Their discography is on Wikipedia. I hope I helped. Just explore. ♥
