truth is; I was at this show.. along w/ dozens of other gigs..
this night, Kurdt came upon the stage, slithering like a snake... his face was painted w/ White make up.. He had a spray bottle full of liquid and was "misting" the first few rows... yeah, I was there. ..
what's with all these idiots visiting Nirvana videos and judging Nirvana? I mean wtf? Go somewhere and think whatever u want. Nirvana is an amazing band and always sounded amazing.
Whoa... I was at this show. It was right before my second year at the Art Institute. I remember Kurt had a black eye and a fat lip. You can see the eye in the video. I seem to also remember at some point he broke a string and Krist did a solo with his mouth, but I may be remembering that from the Mudhoney show there from right around the same time. This seems like a lifetime ago. Thanks for posting!
Does anyone who was at this show remember if Dave Grohl was in the band playing drums at this time. I think probably not, but just curious. Nirvana was a great band, this just was not their best show. They grew into their greatness.
don't call me an idiot for my opinion..i'm just saying the distortion of the video fits this kind of music. if it was a country music concert, it wouldn't sound good. see what I'm saying
Its not Nirvanas style sound noise, the just didnt have money to buy good instruments, and also they didnt know how to play good at the time, Havent you listen'em in 1994? they sound great!
Even so, im sorry I called you idiot, a mean it. Have a nice day!
i wonder if there's a better quality audio recording of this show out there. since the image is pretty good on this. would be cool to mix it with better audio.
damn...i remember this show...'twas a small show...
beginning of my freshman year at cook college...
funny, too - i had gotten nirvana's 'sliver' and sacred reich's 'american way' mixed up from wsou playing 'em both that previous summer...i went b/c i knew i liked nirvana, but couldn't remember which song was theirs or which style they played...metal or indie...sheesh...
I was there, it was an amazing show, there were only 40-50 of us total, it's given me bragging rights for years. I'm standing on the opposite side of the stage about the same distance back as the camera is here.

i was 7 years old and living just outside of Trenton when this was filmed. what a mysterious time to discover music at that age.
