That's as silly as people believing that Dan Brown wrote Angels & Demons in order to pull people from their faith (he didn't -- just writing an excellent novel using both fictional and factual information). So... ye-up. The main reason I don't like this is because it was my understanding that the plagues were brought on the Egyptians due to their enslavment of the Jews. So logically, when God is angry he will always use the same way of punishment that he did thousands of years ago, especially out of context.

I dunno. I can see myself becoming annoyed with the main girl and with the blatant "I'm trying to be creepy and mysterious" townspeople.
