Very few songs by Elvis are short like this one. Most amazing and emotionaly haunting song. I listened to this song and had tears rolling down my cheeks.
Written by Fred Wise and Ben Weisman. Elvis recorded it November 7, 1960 at Radio Recorders for his 1961 movie Wild in the Country. Take #8 was released by RCA. It is available on Elvis for Everyone, Separate Ways, and FTD Wild in the Country.
This is such a very fine and underrated ballad. Elvis will definitely always be the greatest ballad singer. It's from one of Elvis' very best motion pictures "Wild In The Country". It's one of Elvis' most dramatic movies and one of Elvis' most dramatic movie performances without a shadow of a doubt. There'll never be another Elvis. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
