  • Happy fucking Australia Day.

  • i don't get why people think they have the right to treat other people like this.

  • @veelietheiar

Deep down inside, they knew that it was wrong but to accept the truth also meant to release power and they were unwilling to do it. In this story, the truth is that the colonizers realized that they were outnumbered and feared the day of retaliation from the natives. So the sinister plot began of creating a generation of people through brainwashing and rape...

  • very powerful and moving. im glad this never ever happened to my people. aboriginals native cousins from across the tasman. much respect

  • this piss me of im white man but im a native pagan i ben for 3 moths now i love thess ppl.....blass it be

  • we saw this movie in the english lesson, afther i saw that, i was really sad. the poor kids and mums :S it's so unfair. ):

  • Just want to say, because this drives me nuts, the girls were outcasts in aboriginal society as well as white society. Their mother willingly gave them up. Read the bloody book that Molly herself wrote. They had a miserable future staying with their mothers either way.

And yes, no one knows what happened to Gracie. It's sad, but they weren't pried from their mothers' arms, thus said Molly, one of the girls who was taken.

  • good work briton fucking up lives and killing innocent people on every continent.

  • omg they coul'dve just turned and ran the other way when the guy stopped the car infront of em

  • so in the end, it is due to opposing viewpoints, which led to the suffering of the aboriginals!

    it is a sad existence!

  • @MiahCrosby Actually if you research it correctly, Both Aborignal and non-indigenous lived in harmony for a while before their was conflict. Conflict originally started because Aboriginals didn't understand and didn't approve of settlers creating and building on the land. Such things as fences and housing. They would burn and pull them down because they thought it was disrespectful to mother earth.

  • @PyChoKIdD wtf is wrong with you. She was hitting herself because she was depressed that her grandchildren were taken away.

  • Rabbit Proof Fence is similarly as factual as An Inconvinient Truth, or Braveheart.

  • Rabbit Proof Lie - Saved Generations

  • @globinpig What are you saying?

  • @ritsfata I'm saying that this is a gross fabrication of history.

  • @globinpig Really? Because it's based on fact.

  • @ritsfata Rubbish. It is based on untruths that have been fabricated in order to profiteer indefinitely. There are not even 10 so called 'stolen' persons that have been identified and withstood basic scrutiny of their claims. Rather than being stolen, they were indeed saved from endemic sexual and physical abuse, and recieved educations and health care. Look at the NT situation today and dare try and deny tthat these communities are dangerous for children.

  • @globinpig Still, this is from the point of view of these kids who didn't understand that what was happening would be supposedly 'good' (haha) for them.

  • @ritsfata The real-life Molly, oldest of the girls, upon watching the movie premiere said "That isn't my story". The scene depicted here is fabricated to illicit maximum emotion from the audience, at the expense of fact. Interventions in the era this movie deeems to depict were generally uneventful and often...rather than kidnappings as insinuated. In life the kids who were rescued later came to be thankful that they were not neglected and sexually abused by their relatives.

  • @globinpig Find me and article or some sort of evidence of that and I'll believe you, but right now, I think you're just defending the 'whites' in this film. I'm white too so I'm not being racist either, I just know what we are capable of.

  • @ritsfata Then, not being a racist, you'll know the capabilities of all for attrocities (your last sentence is redundant).

Start off reading 'The Fabrication of Aboriginal History : Volume 3, The Stolen Generations 1881-2008' by Keith Windschuttle. It is an excellent examination of archival records, goverment policies and laws of the time (check these references in book and you have overwelming evidence contrary to 'stolen' generations fiction).

  • I want reparations from Norway for the raping and pillaging of my ancestors!

  • racism is very evil thing..! and it still exists thnx to us white people.!

  • @somrazy3 Bullshit. Racism is not exclusive to any one ethnicity.

  • @LIVEMeltdown4ROCK most of them were taken a made into slaves...the "good" intentions was mostly just a cover in their plan to 'breed them out'...its eugenics and it makes them no better than hitler...

  • @Didei NONE of that is true

  • @Logicbeatslies I wish you were right...but It is true. I suggest you Google this up or go take a course on it. I am studying this as part of my university coursework and it isn't difficult to find evidence online.

  • @Didei They were put into nice foster homes. I have a mate brought up that way. Are you in primary school, or has our education system become that self deprecating? University...? You're lying, surely.

When you say, "they" you mean we, no. You fucked up.

"breed them out" this is aboriginal propaganda that makes some activists filthy rich. Since when did conspiracy theories became part of university curriculum?

The policies had merit and success. Our activists were educated by tax payers.

  • @Logicbeatslies In spite of the overwhelming evidence and documentation available everywhere, you chose to chastise me for merely stating the truth? Are you in denial because you can't deal with the guilt? Please, stop embarrassing yourself online and go hit the books. You sound obnoxious and ignorant.

  • this is so sad.

but sorry, i thought the grandma hitting herself with the rock was funny LMAO

  • @LegendsLiveforeverx3 The grandma was trying to kill herself. Funny.

  • omg

  • seriously i hate racism!!!!

  • We should do the same thing to the Gypsies. The Aborigines didn't really deserve it, though.

  • we said sorry, not much to cry about anymore.

  • @ipklan yeah well im going to take you from your mum and make you learn religion and eat crap food little shit

  • i know this is sad, but man that lady hitting her self in the head was fucking funny. i feel evil.

  • this is probably the saddest thing ever, i feel like fucking stabbing the fucking guy who decided on the fucked up plan that BITCH!

  • HAHAHAHAHA Like dead rising 1 intro xD Zombie everywere around the carXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD

  • White austrialian rascists ;_;.wat if there lil kids tak dem out of there house by a robber and they die i :D illl say "lol its not a altered visons"

  • The same tactic they trying to use in america

Some people are too blind to see it.smh

  • Every time I start Crying....

This feels so real to me,

    Great acting, But so sad...

  • Fuckin Bustards, this still happens today believe it or nor

  • my god that made me cry.

  • @HLSBabii

    me too

it's so horrible what the europeans did to the aborigines

  • @mexiboy247 She was beating herself with a rock because that's a traditional Aboriginal act of mourning. It's not hilarious, it's heartbreaking. When their emotions become too painful they can't internalize them, so they cause themselves physical pain. Your comment shows your ignorance.

  • If anyone tried to take my kids I'd kill em.

    BTW, lol@grandma's headbanging.

  • Run Molly, daisy and Gracie...I really hate this part and it made me cry. Poor souls.):

  • It sickens me to the core knowing that we did this to the Indigenous people.

  • The 'passed' goverment did, not 'we'. I didn't do shit.

  • I know that we specifically didn't do anything, but its good that we acknoledged what happened to them and apologised on behalf of the generations before us that did those things.

  • srsly i wanna punch the guy in thw face and i wonder if they knew how to open the door

  • holy shit, so am i

  • omg. this is so upsetting.

  • this scene brings silence to all audience

hmm the bnp will be bringing this disgusting treatment back soon, its already starting again..

  • i hate this, truly hate it.

  • Nah its mine

  • Obviously tcal222 u dont give a fuck about these people! k

The aboriginals were the TRADITIONAL land owners.

only Half white half aboriginal children were taken.

Its sooooooo sad and distressing watching this scene. It made me teary.

    Love this movie!

  • @Greentoolify you're a noob? basically 99% of full blood aboriginal children were taken. it was so they could "out breed" them - whether they were half white or not, they were all segregated.

  • sorry abo's, this is my land now

  • british australian bastards get all burned alive

  • typical british australian scum scum scum

  • british australian scum scum scum

  • typical racism

    now they savin iraq

    watever

  • see what u white fellas put us threw back in da day

  • There are stories like this worldwide thanks to the colonial Europeans.

  • @LadyLibraNMore There are a number of other things worldwide thanks to colonial Europeans as well....

  • @LadyLibraNMore Get the chip off your shoulder, racist.

  • @globinpig

Prove that I am racist. Find EMPIRICAL evidence to support your claim.

(BTW, you won't because I am not a racist)

  • @LadyLibraNMore There are stories like this worldwide thanks to hate. Blacks, Aboriginals, and Native Americans did just as many despicable things to whites. I love that everyone forgets that because of the pity they have for people of one color but they forget that it can go both ways.

  • 1@13Pinkgnomies

Pardon the late response as it is proof that I do have a life :)

The equation that you've attempted to make is false. The examples that you've cited regarding hatred towards "whites" from other ethnic groups- "blacks", Aboriginals, and Native Americans- was not hatred. It was self-defense. None of the people you've named ever invaded the lands of the "whites" (Europe) nor utilized the tactics for the REASONS that "whites" did.

  • 2@13Pinkgnomies

There are many examples throughout the world where "whites" fled the masses of their own people & assimilated with the native peoples. Jamestown, Virginia is one of them, however, there are people that are still in denial. The tale is that the group of people from England mysteriously "disappeared".

  • 3@13Pinkgnomies

However, occassionally- there are Native American descendents from the area born with features that make them appear different from the rest (i.e. reddish-hair, blue eyes, etc). There is also Zumbi dos Palmares in Brazil who fled captivity and established "Quilombos" that fought off slave-traders...and there were "white" people living in them as well.

  • 4@13Pinkgnomies

The reality is...if you're using the word WHITE to describe people in terms of skin-color, YOU'VE BEEN BRAINWASHED. The reality is that there is not a soul on this planet...not even an albino...whose skin color matches the background of this web-page. Now, why are you referring to the descendents of Europeans as "whites"??? Especially when in Europe, it's people refer to themselves by the nations of their births (i.e. Swedes, French, English, Italian, etc.)?

  • 5@13Pinkgnomies

Well, part of the tactic used was to allow one group to benefit while the others did not. Those who wanted to benefit had to enter into a mentality of self-denial that they were poor, starving and oppressed in their own lands and had to flee to other parts of the world in order to survive. They had to deny that they were hurting innocent people so that they can live "luxurious" lives & justify it through the misuse of Christianity.

  • 6@13Pinkgnomies

They had to accept the propaganda that they were feeding to the natives of the lands that they were invading. This is how the i.e. German, English, French, Scot, etc... & others who "looked" like them...suddenly became "white" in every place on the planet except Europe.

  • 7@13Pinkgnomies

So, no, it does NOT go "both ways". There is not a history of people: of African descent castrating innocent "whites"; or of Native American descent forcing their religions (spirituality) onto "whites"; or of Aborigines abducting "white" children & raping them one generation after the next to produce a race of mulattoes that will perform the functions of the society that Aborigines deemed undesirable- only colonial Europeans have that history.

  • slamfactory24 you are a friggin moron bruz ya know what step into the mind of an aboriginal mother for a few minutes you and ypur kids are happy and everythings ok just for a split second and then all of a sudden ya close ya eyes and your kids are gone no where to be seen ya understand what im trying to say now in the same situation ask yourself how would you feel?, how would you react?, and what would u do?
