  • fantastic car mate. good to see yeat another one of these restored. by the way... are you going to put the 'goss special' decal back on?

  • Thanks heaps SickEB! They are actually from the John Goss Special XD's but it did look pretty good on there! I seriously thought about it and it may happen in the future...

  • The scariest thing is the O/S rear quarter has nearly the exact same damage! Very hard to get that bloody shape right by the way! The previous owner hit a sign post very early in the car's life.

thanks for posting mate, and keep it in Australia

  • Sweet looking machine mate, I'm inspired.....

I have a '75 GS Coupe (302, polar white) and the similarities between yours and mine are freakily similar. Gave me a massive deja-vu watching this!

Mine had all the same rust as shown here.... parcel shelf, sills, lower A-pillar (behind front wheels), doors, and roof drip rails. Also has cracked door latch mounts.

  • Jimmy mows my lawn and pays me six bucks for the pleasure because he sucks and should be destroyed.

The video was great though, nice one!

  • xtcracing: Bono, Bad to the bone was in reference to the condition of the car and well who doesn't like Jimmy???

    Jon

  • real credit to you john. All the frustration paid off in the end.

  • Awesome Jon! You've resurrected the ol' girl from the dead, and it's a real credit to you!! I can't wait for a Power From The Past autograph session with the Legend himself - and perhaps a few laps of Symmons ;-) Top stuff!!

  • top job jonno, i so wish i had done something like this when i was doing mine. Had to turn music down though dude.....What the!!!
