I have this case for my driod and the only problem is with top skinny part (i'd guess you'd call it lol) If the phone is unlocked and i slide it oped, the case rubs if the keyboard and startsa typing and does a google search, but other than that its great.

I have a Q: Does the Droid only fit into the holster with the screen facing in or can it be put the other way?? While driving I would like to have the screen showing but still in the belt clip holster and my BT headset will be on... DONT DRIVE AND TALK WITHOUT A HEADSET!!!

@dabesthustler11 It's a great case. I have it for my droid, and love it. It's easily removable (not like the clear body glove from the verizon store, that was a bitch and a half) so it can be cleaned when necessary. I work in a restaurant, and it protects my phone nicely.

i got this case also, on ebay. but the top right peice wont stay on. even if while putting it on i start on that side, once i get to the opposite side it pops back off. do you have this problem please reply asap

OK I bought the case, the bottom piece is good but the top keeps slipping off, are there suppose to be ridges at the bottom facing the keyboard? It doesn't stay, plus every time I open the keyboard the top case pops off, do I have a defective model?

If you still have the receipt you may be able to get a new one replaced for free. Just take it to a VZW store or kiosk and tell them what happened they may give you a new one free of charge!

You can also place the phone with the screen out if you'd like. Search for FommyVideo, thats where I bought mine, they show it with the phone screen out.

Tips--you only have to remove the rear case to place the Droid in the car mount or multimedia dock. Question: what are the round holes on the back of the belt clip...is there supposed to be a way to secure it? in the closed position?

I was very disappointed in this product. As someone else mentioned there is a tab on the top plate which hits several keys every time you open/close the keyboard. I had to sand this tab off completely. I also found the top plate to be EXTREMELY difficult to remove and in the process of prying it off I think I loosened my keyboard slider. The only good thing is that you don't have to remove the top plate to put the Droid in the multimedia station, only the easier to remove bottom plate.

go to best buy and u can get just a data plain for this phone. I did and it rules. u get unlimited texting and picture sharing and unlimited data for 65 bucks*thats after all the taxes. u still get the phone for 199 and everything. Don't go to a Verizon store or outlet, they will tell you, that u have to have a phone and data to get the phone, ITS TOTAL BULLSHIT don't believe them, they are only telling you that for commission reasons. go to best but, u will be very happy.

FYI if the people at best buy tell you that u cant get just a data plain for the droid, just get one of the papers that have all the different providers prices and find the Verizon one and look at the bottom of the page and look for a plain called Email & web Solution. If the people tell u that it want work with the driod, THAT IS BULLSHIT as well. I got it and its all works. just tell them to get on the phone with verizon and they will work it out. always get what u want!

You have to remove only the back piece which is very easy to do. one easy motion it is off and it will fit perfect in both multimedia and car dock.

Actually it comes with droid. Once put the droid over the dock it automatically go to clock mode, and you can also set your alarm/alarm tune whatever. So don't look for something that its already there lol

You can either use one of two Widgets for this: Weather Widgets or Beautiful Widgets, both are $1.50 in the Android Marketplace! I like Weather Widgets better because you can skin it and it is more reliable in my opinion.

Also, I forgot to mention this in the review but when you put the piece that covers the edges of the screen on, it also has about 0.5 - 1.0 mm of raised polycarbonate plastic around the screen so that if you drop your phone screen down, the screen with not hit the ground but instead the protector will because of the extra bit of raised plastic. THAT right there is an small bit of engineering brilliance that remains out of sight and does it's job!

GREAT REVIEW Hitman! I have a question about the part that attaches to the screen. Are the left and right edges of it rigid or do they have a lot of play, meaning that they will bend outward away from the screen? I bought the silicone gel case at the VZW store and the part that attaches to the screen is so flexible that it doesn't cover the edges of the phone as well as I would like, I can see the metal underneath because it bows away from the screen, it should be completely covered.

docprego: the edges of the piece that attaches to the screen are definitely rigid enough to protect it in my opinion while also having enough play to allow easy installation and uninstallation without having to rip and tear at it like the Body Glove variant. I say it's a well thought out piece!
