The vorpal blade is actually from the original Jabberwocky poem from the original poem from the original book [: "He took his vorpal sword in hand" is the first line in the second stanza and "The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!" is the second line in the fifth stanza. It's been used in quite a bit of Alice stuff now, especially the 2010 movie, American McGee's Alice and this, the sequel.

"Vorpal" is actually one of the many 'nonsense' words created by Lewis Carrol (who wrote the "Alice" stories) in his poem "Jabberwocky". The dictionary meaning of "vorpal" is "deadly" and can be applied to any object (a sword, in the original work). It has nothing to do with the new movie. (I know you've probably gotten a lot of messages/comments to this extent, but it drives me mad (ha, ironic) when credit is given to knock-offs.) Also, loving this LP.
