@konamiryder Thanks. I asked him to give me several different reactions, and chose that one because it reflects the unusual circumstance of the character in the dream recognizing that he is part of a dream while the dreamer remains unconvinced despite the evidence.

And, for the record, he is turned into a wolf.

One problem I had with this commercial, and no it isn't "game dude", it's the fact that you stare into the camera when you say that it is a dream. Seems kinda weird to me. Still, good job! Subbed!

@icetailgreg Well, he was directed to stare into the camera in order to enhance the dolly zoom effect. At any rate, he is not staring into the camera per say. You will note in the succeeding shots that he is actually staring off into space. It was supposed to be weird, and dramatic, and silly.

@FellowGamePlayer It’s not the first project of ours that this has happened to either. And I had never even heard of GameDude until weeks after we shot this project. I asked for an actor and he was recommended to me.

Also there's a technique you use in there I've wondered about how to do. The whole zooming back effect where the background does that zoomy-thingy too.

@WolvenClawPeacemaker It’s called a Dolly Zoom. You zoom out at the same time moving camera towards the talent, thereby causing the background to recede and the talent to draw nearer.
