They cancelled my stomach operation 3 times in 2008.Their new system is "manage your condition".In orther words control your pain with tablets.

It used to be a stop on the stagecoach route with a smithy at the rear.

Just a glimpse of the Grove Inn where my Mum was-op born in 1920.

The Co-op has finally closed it's doors - only the chemist and the post office inside the building  are still open - August 2010

I worked on Sat at the B & T club for my Grandfather. Also remember the houses being build at Hazelwood Road! Where's Warburtons motorcycles and the Red Lion - where we underagers used to frequent! Lived near Stepping Hill for years.
