@animeloverxX93 yea i followed a complete softmod guide that showed me everything. before that i would just install random stuff on my wii hoping that it would work. i had to download a cios (dont know which. i think it was 36) and some ios. google the guide. it really helped me.

I was a bit scared of modifying my wii,because even now I got problems with it.Sometimes the restart button isn't reacting,then the whole console shuts down,it's creepy.D:

My dad modified it before he gave it to me as an christmas present a few years ago,but he didn't tell me about that.^^

You later install Wadmanager on Wii which is the DOL file.

Then after opening Wadmanager you can then select an apropriate Iso: 249 is recommended.

Find the storage device with the "Wad Installer/Uninstaller" in it and install that. Bravo, use the program you have just installed to install new game Wads & such.

@n00bkiller247 Once your wii remote turns off, your console turns into a functioning controller. You can then use the buttons on the side to switch between highlighted options and select the one which is appropriate for you. Alternatively you can plug in your gamecube controller and use that. If you want anymore help, feel free to ask. I'll do more research for you because It was a while ago when I did this.

The video doesn't explain it well enough for noobs... What you do is download both wadmanager17.wad & WAD-Manager_v1.7_DOL.zip Unzip the (.dol) file and make a folder which will be named 'wad manager' Inside the folder: -boot.dol (rename WAD-Manager_v1.7.dol to boot.dol) -meta.xml file -icon.png (the meta.xml and icon.png can be copied and modified(using right click>edit) from other apps) Now you run it though Hombrew Channel After installing(using default options) Install the Wad

U create a new folder on the root of ur sd card and name it wad and put wat ever wad u r trying to download in it.

disregard my last question i solved it, i now have WAD manager 1.7 running via the homebrew menu. but i only have one last question, if i start up any homebrew launcher on the default IOS249 my wii freezes (at least i think it does, everything will keep running but the controller will shut off and not turn back on), but when i tried installing the WAD manager channel through IOS58 it doesnt work and just gives an error. what IOS an i suppose to use to install the channels?
