  • Somehow the HQ version is better than the HD version

    I LOOOOOOOOVE the HQ better

    :)

  • amazing track sung live brilliant

  • Freaking legends, loved them from day one when I saw them on Eurovision.

  • Of course while this is a great dancy number the real message in the song albeit well hidden is about the horrors of war in particular Vietnam.

  • I remember them when they started out. They took the music world by storm with their fabulous songs. Absolute stunning group and every time I watch their videos I'm dancing along. GO ABBA and make other flip flops fy away...

  • ABBA needs to tour again. They would make BILLIONS doing a world tour!

  • @NazcarFanatic24 They are not interested in the money, any amount of money. They want to be remembered how they were in the '70's, and the excitement of the times. Having seen them in concert in 1977 in sydney I agree. I don't believe they can ever recapture that special time when they were in their '20's. Unfortunately it will never happen.

  • @NazcarFanatic24 They do not want...and they are separated.

  • I WANT BACK!!

  • Wonderful, awesome...video!!!!! ABBA is 4 ever!! Those who are tired of listening to ABBA are the ones that are dead, they don´t know anything they are not in anything. Free to choose good or bad thing....

    ABBA 4 EVER!!!!! we chooose!!!!

  • @Ivonne0423 A great Choice!

  • Frida is such a little cutie! Love her!

  • Seems like it used to be a much more kind and simple time back then

  • How beautiful Agnetha is! Great body, she`s like a real barbie!!! <3

  • Love it!! Thank you!!!

  • even the kids enjoyed the song! :)

  • God I love the Aussies ! ! Theyer Americans that arnt neurotic ....The way Americans used to be 100 years ago . Americans....got to be cool ....If its not deemed cool then its bad no matter how good is ......

  • Luv it

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the many warm comments :))

  • @2Shaymcn Why are you saying "Thank you?" The warm comments are for ABBA, not you.

  • @jamesmclarey people appreciate the upload as I do

  • I'm crying tears of joy when hearing this song , I'm so dam addicted to it!

  • when i listen this song, i feel so happy, calm

  • What kind of piano es that Yamaha??

  • Formidabili ed instancabilmente briosi

  • very mixed crowd

  • @Marcopolo epic winning top 1 gay song!

  • ピアノがヤマハじゃん!

  • You make us swedish people be proud of who we are, my mother was a big ABBA fan she stood in front of the television back in the 70's dancing and singing. She wanted to be agnetha fältskog

  • they will always be missed matt

  • This brought chills to my back. This song has to be on my cleaning room playlist NOW

  • To know that you could never go back in time really hurts me, even though i havnt even experienced it hurts even more, i hatr being a 21st centuary teenager

  • I wish I could have seen them live, but I wasn't even born then :(

Just watching the videos is not the same...But it's a great video of course, thanks for the upload :)

  • LIve ABBA...nothing better

  • gawsh agnetha was so fucking hot back then

  • Do you have to express your extremely low mentality about beautiful people...I don't think you were born then because we of the more matured people show more respect...

  • @hitchowa1 i said she's hot, how the fuck is that low mentality? LOL gtfo

  • @Ameh1 Your expressive language of beautiful people is vulgar, demeaning, disrespectful to Agnetha, her husband and children and ABBA. But you wouldn't know that because of your expressive mentality. Bring it on bro!!!

  • @hitchowa1 LOLOL you aren't Agnetha sooooooo yeahhh.... weirdo.

  • i love you agnetha...

  • wow! wonderful

    Thanks for posting!!!

  • styx, queen

  • einfach genial so schön ich liebe ****ABBA****

  • This is ABBA at thier absolute best, performing what is arguably thier greatest hit at what may have been the greatest concert of thier career. When I 1st saw this, I was spellbound. During their Australian tour in '77, they dominated that country like no other band ever has before or since, and seeing this clip it is not hard to see why :)

  • Comment removed

  • Quick. How many artists sound BETTER live than in studio? Abba. Name another.

  • @r5t6y7u8 Nirvana, U2, Radiohead, Muse etc...

  • @r5t6y7u8 You are correct my friend :)

  • Great........:-) It was my time........

  • They made a perfect show....

  • Ich liebe dieses Lied und nochmehr ABBA !

  • The best live performance ever from the best song ever!!! ♥

  • @dl87z28 and yet you're still listening to this gay ass shit

  • Perfect storm in music world in the 70's... Thank you Abba. We love you. Thank you from Turkey.

  • In the few live vidoes of ABBA Frida's voice seems to be the dominant one.

  • What I like most about this clip is that it really illustrates just how big a sensation ABBA was during that era. They truly are 1 of the greatest bands of all time. The funny thing is, the older I get, the more I appreciate thier music :)

  • Abba NEEDS to do a reunion concert!

  • She is cute

  • 12 PEOPLE ARE NOT DIGGING INTO THE DANCING QUEEN

  • heavenly. if only they would come together once more. I was just a baby when they performed. I would pay anything to see them perform. Do not care one bit that they are older.

  • This shows what HAPPYNESS really means.

  • I was kinda like a DQ in Blackpool yesterday,had gr8 times ; p

  • Earthlings, the year is 2020.

We have come a long way since the days of the people named "ABBA" or in modern language "01000001010000100100001001000001".

We now have special processes in place to instruct our entertainment resources what to wear, what to sing, how to sing it, where to look and when to smile.

We do not tolerate audience resources showing signs of pleasure. Phones and other devices must be switched on and fiddled with at all times.

These are glorious days my friends.

  • WONDERFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • These guys were HUGE in the 70's. That blonde is so damn hot, what legs on a woman. I would, well, never mind what I would do.

  • I see a polymoog

  • This song gives me goosebumps :)

  • ABBAs Albums are Real GOLD

  • goosepumps to see and listen this amazing music, love them ABBA good times

  • abba make me happy!!!!!!! the best group everrrrrrrrrrr

  • Wow! just WOW!! What a stunning, thrilling performance. I wish they would get together one last time. Other groups from that era, such as the Eagles, have managed to reuinite in a dignified way. They might need to somehow perform the songs in a slower, more "mature" way...who friggin cares.....it would be a HUGE event.

  • It is a beautiful song celebrating youth and carefree living.

  • @PlainYork well said.

  • @PlainYork, absolutely agree parents & children enjoying a wonderful performance. Wish I could take a time machine back & let my own kids enjoy talent like this.

  • @DoninYokyo Their music is happy (most of the time) and in turn it makes me happy. I think that is good for children and adults alike.

  • My fav..

  • 11 sad campers...

  • Hello, Oh great i love Abba. Specially at 1.12 Agnetha look Frida and 1;16 it's frida. And so the kid is dancing at 1.29, very cute :-) Thank you for your upload

  • An orchestra live on stage for a pop music song - I love ABBA. So thorough :) Beautiful music... Just love it

  • STUNNING Agentha, too beautiful!

  • frida is nice yes but the camera is ALWAYS on aggie in performances back in the day it was aggie that was made a sex "icon" not frida. remember this. they both have tremendous voices though.

  • fantastic performance .. incredible ... I do not sing like them, but see if you like .. think maybe with headphones sound better

  • ABBA IS LEGEND

  • EXCELLENT PRESENTATION...UNIQUE

  • VÝBORNÁ SKUPINA FAKT GOOD

  • wow

  • Mal cae ese hijo de puta de la guitarra...culero...

  • Benny Andersson once said: I´m glad that all the world has the same music taste as I have...

  • Im not saying anything against this band and my critic is probably just a thing of the 80's^^ but why the FUCK does this dude has a guitar around his neck which he never uses? and dont tell me it's just this song, it ISNT!

  • @THug0001 enjoy the song for what it was

  • @THug0001 For a start this is not a "thing of the 80's" it was filmed in 1977. Having a full band on stage you don't always have to be playing the guitar, and he does from time to time play it.

  • @THug0001 Because he sings on most songs alongside the girls - simple.

  • @THug0001 Maybe for the same reason Stevie Nicks always bangs on a tambourine even though you could be in the dress with her and never hear it.

  • I was there, 10 years old with my mum and dad. throughout the show I just stood there with my mouth open, I was so blown away and still am.

  • @derozedriehoek Lucky you, man!

  • Abba was the first color broadcast in Australia as well.

  • @derozedriehoek Wow! That's awesome u were there :)

  • @derozedriehoek Oh if I could go back in time and see what you saw :)

  • @derozedriehoek I wish I was you. But instead I'm being pushed to go and see justin fucking bieber.

  • @turandretur

bieber sounds like babier = babies

    a fucking cocksucker

  • Why are you expressing your self so disgustedly. You sound like a person who has a crush on little boys....

  • Sweden has at least 2 great things to offer to the world, Volvo cars and yes, Abba!! ;D

  • @fragilebeaster And the third, Roxette. After them, nothing.

  • @Sukkis1 and porn

  • @Sukkis1

    ABBA ARE MY Lordesses.

    But didnt you noticed AHA

    Ferdinand estgermany

  • Those kids on the video didn't know how lucky they were to be there but they probably do now.

  • Is there a group in the recent past who have had the impact that ABBA had for 7 years?

  • Frida's voice is more prominent throughout most of the songs in ABBA - The Movie.

  • I was there!!!!!

  • La buena música ACABO a la media noche del 31 de diciembre de 1989...¡qué suerte haber vivido los 70's y 80's!...ABBA un grupazo y Agnetha la mujer más hermosa de TODOS LOS TIEMPOS...

  • Abba were real singers not like now a days when singers voices are monitored and played with to make them sound good . . . Abba were natural and original! Abba forever!

  • To see the audience so enthusiastic when they hear the first bars of the song is just amazing. I've been to concerts today where half of the people around didn't even bother to dance with the music. I wish I could be older so I could have experienced this.

  • They were the best 70's music rocks.

  • The Mothership has landed..This is HEAVENLY~!!!!!!!!

  • Chills.....AMAZING

  • ABBA 4-ever !!

  • I love those boots :D

  • This is a perfect live performance. ABBA forever!

  • AMAZING!!

  • ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • 素晴らしい 一言

  • ABBA sonaba en la radio y mi familia emigraba a Australia...tengo esa imagen grabada...lindos recuerdos.

  • I still love ABBA...since I was a kid, til now...and forever...

  • 34 years later and it still sounds excellent .

  • This great band was the headline act in 76" when I was stationed in Spain. They followed acts like Black Sabbath, Status Quo an Golden Earring an the guys I went with wanted to leave but it was mobbed an we just stayed. Boy, they were glad they did! They were great musicians playing great music. That show was a memory I have cherished all these years. Like my main man Billy Joel says,"It's still rock n' roll to me!"

  • minha época de mela cuéca nos bailinhos da vida ou melhor "discoqueteque".

  • la piu' grande canzone dance di tutti i tempi!!!!

  • GASPS!!! Is that? Wait... I believe it is! Yes! Yes it is... MUSICIANSHIP

  • They were a great Live band, no doubt. Great audio quality on this too!

  • Great to find this. Was disappointed with hardly anything ABBA on YouTube :(. Oh and Please spare me of that Glee crap "so called music lol!

  • me encanta la musica de abba y esta cancion me facina....

  • How wonderful. I saw the ABBA movie this comes from once Netflix began streaming it online. As for the sound quality, bear in mind ABBA had complete control over the movie and (given Bjorn's perfectionism) must have extensively reworked all the audio back home before releasing it, but it does retain enough of a live feel to really hit home.

Sadly, in the whole two-hour movie of ABBA's crazed tour down under, this is one of the few full songs included - most others are just nice tidbits.

  • @ablaysamot You are true about the snippets, though I'm pretty sure the whole concert was taped (like the 1979 tour) and I wish it was released in full, instead of snippets in the movie, because I think I prefer this tour to the other one, better song choice IMO

  • /dance

  • Still incredible, like I'm back in my youth.

  • 30+ years later and still the greatest pop song ever recorded.

  • J'adore

  • This is why I have a deep passion for oldies. All artists know how to use their natural voice without any of the auto-tuning and studio editing. It's beautiful. More than half of today's artists sound like sh*t when they perform live.

  • At 3:22, keep your eye on the kid in the middle? Is he crying tears of joy/excitement? If he IS, he MUST be a fan!

  • Praise Elvis, the Beatles, Elton John, the Carpenters, ANY Motown artist, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Billy Joel, to name a few, all you want, BUT, TO ME, NONE OF THEM, moved me like ABBA!

  • They are the best. Please get back together and give us a life again. You were the best.

  • @cforssi I agree! Where does today's music business expect us to go with the artists they're promoting?!

  • Ich wünschte ich hätte ABBA noch erlebt!!!!!!

Warum denken eig so viele dass Abba schwul wäre

  • One word: WOW!

As a previous poster stated, this was recorded live in the 70's without the benefit of sound enhancements like Justin Timberlake, Brittany Spears, and the rest of these "disposable musicians" use today.

Like Karen Carpenter, there voices were their TRUE TALENT, period. With incredible song writing, they are legends.

    ABBA.. I love you.....forever.

  • bring ABBA back to 2011..!!!!

  • This is amazing?

  • @ASPAustralia YES!

  • @ASPAustralia Sorry i meant This is Amazing hahahaha

  • their music was so positive and give us a feeling of eternity...

  • I always liked this song. Another great iconic song representing the 1980's.

  • The best music-and group- ever. Its makes you feel so happy.

  • Look all those children happy. Never we can see magic like that: music for all age. I was 12 years old. But I love Abba forever..

  • Damn, I wish I was born in the late 50's / early 60's. I missed out on the greatest era.

  • awesome...AWESOME PERFORMANCE,A GREAT TOURNE

  • Amazing band!!!!

  • Those were the times when people actually used to sing on stage and not just open their mouth. This was absolutely an extraordinary live performance from one of the most popular bands in history. Agnetha and Frida had not only looks, but amazing voices as well.

  • @edvard1970 im pretty sure they still do that. its called broadway.

  • @edvard19 Totally agree this is an amazing performance, and clearly Abba put on an outstanding show, but would remind that many videos feature them lip-syncing to studio tracks in "live" settings. Not singling them out, just the standard back then, especially for TV appearances. Only in the post-Milli Vanilli and " MTV unplugged" era are we as allergic to lip-sync.

  • @skeetcouper

Only to put things right here. ABBA always wanted the prefect sound to any performance, live or not.

To ensure base quality when not the whole band/orchestra where on place playback were next best thing.

Still, if you are unsure about live singing or not you can go by the simple rule: sounds great = playback ...sounds like the best i have ever heard = live!

  • @skeetcouper partly due to Musicians Union rules in the old days I believe

  • @edvard1970 but not playing their instruments for real ^^

  • @THug0001 They are playing their instuments for real, benny playing the piano should tell you that.

  • One thing I noticed in this video. Notice how Agnetha sings AND dances in this video?

Most broads these days can't do both, thus lip synching. Not Agnetha. Even Frida can barely move while singing, but Agnetha dances around like a ballerina.

Thankfully, the camera man shows Agnetha 3/4 of the time in this video.

  • @SuperDrJeckyl Are you kidding me....Frida is always the one dancing in performances....now I know you are delusional. Half the time Aggie just stands in one spot, with that same clueless expression on her face lolol

  • @dutico Frida dances, but never while singing. Speaking of Frida dancing, what kind of ridiculous dance was that so called dance in the "Gimme Gimme Gimme" form Wembley video? She looks like a chicken with asthma flopping around on that one. Agnetha is the dancer of the group, always swaying those child bearing, perfect hips, twirling like a seasoned ballerina. Agnetha inspired the guy in the "Saturday Night Fever" movie after seeing her dance moves. Plus, Agnetha sings AND dances!!

  • It's funny, Bjorn at the beginning is trying to whip up the crowd. But, you know, everyone is just saying, "Shut up and get out of the way, monkey boy. We came to stare at Agnetha a couple of hours, not you. Bring on Agnetha and just play your guitar and get out of her way."

  • @SuperDrJeckyl riek that Aggie omitts at 3:45 just so she could be heard because Frida was outsinging her live...like usual. She sounded like a sqauking pigeon to put it kindly.

  • @dutico Oh, no you didn't!!!! Surely you didn't call The Voice of ABBA a "squawking pigeon"? That was my angel Agnetha putting extra oomph, extra emotion into that song, singing her lovely blonde heart out while Frida is doing her usual solid job. That was my doll showing off right there. Poor Frida thought she was the voice, but my darling Agnetha just said, "Oh, yeah!, listen to this, Frida." and just turns it up a notch, leaving Frida choking in the dust. Game, set, match to Agnetha.

  • certo che erano proprio due belle figone !

  • I would also like to add how lovely Frida sounds in this performance. She hits those low notes with perfection

  • in my opinion the best song ever
