LOL..$4000! Dream-on. The airframe with stuff like retracts, canopy, cockpit and spinner will set you back around $4800 (as of Aug 2011). The 250 Moki radial is $4150. Electronics another $1500. Add some more stuff like prop, exhaust, smoke system, the special metallic finish, I doubt you will have change out of $11,000 USD.

I remember seeing a yak 11 display several years on the run at Blackpool Air Show - Lovely aeroplane - This model captures it almost perfectly. The only thing that is different is the cockpit on the original that I grew to love was a bubble, not like the one here - But I have to agree, the sound is fab! :o)

This is a beautiful model. Im soooo happy that radials are becoming a more common part of this sport. Turbine engines are great, but radial makes the sport real...just my opinion :)

Is that 4blade prop making it faster? On my OS75AX a 4blade spells no flight. Does the lower rpm this engine turns compensate for the vacuum these blades create at high rpm? Awesome flying btw, Great!!!

moki 250's with electric start are around 3,900 us dollars.. airfrane probably around 400 dollars and lets not forget SERVOS and Reciever and battery pack, Radio your looking at 500-900 dollars in servos alone!! id say more tward 5k invested in something like this with 8ch radio!!!

What a shame if this bird really crashed. I hope it was not totally destroyed. Has Europe gone to digit 2GHZ systems like we are in the states? The seem to be much more reliable than single channel. I never get tired of watching this video, the most realistic sounding RC plane out there.
