I agree Sober George! He is so laid back and super smart. He is a man of experience and confidence with no airs about him. And I love his clothes!

The thing I like about Rick Owens is his honesty. In an industry full of pompous arrogance, it's refreshing to hear someone who isn't trying to impress us with a canned PR pitch. He seems very real. To me, the whole celebrity thing seems so old, not to mention predictable. The only people who are impressed with "which celebrity wore what" are people who read the gossip rags. Those people don't buy luxury fashion anyway.

@SoberGeorge You're so right. I don't think I've ever heard a full interview with him but I'm so glad I finally did. It's obvious that he just really loves his work and isn't into any of the BS that surrounds it.

@BOOLsheet dude have you ever owned or even touched a RO leather jacket? Not to make Rick some kind of all-knowing divine fashion-God, but its not just a leather jacket. Compared to so many other leathers out there his are such marvellous pieces

@BOOLsheet I know that, but thats what the 'Rick Owens'-tag at the backneck and quality costs. Thats just like everything else: buying an apple pc, iphone or ipad instead of regular pc or telephone.
