Nice setup, I have this BOSE acoustimass 3, 5 and 6. Actually, I have buy a Harman Kardon HKTS 9BQ. The sound's better than the BOSE systems. I am considering to buy for my bedroom an 127cm Kuro with two Rowen speakers and an Panasonic amp.

When the lights are on 100% they can be a bit too bright for watching a movie. But I can off course dim the lights to a lower setting. I can also change the color independently.

I dont understand why you use bose acoustimass 5s as the rears. For £400 you could have got the B&W 685, or if you want the same style the XT2's which are £700. ?

How can you combine such amazing speakers like the XT4s and the whole Bowers&Wilkins setup (sub and presumably the centre channel one) with Bose!!!YUCK... Im baffled...

on the other side... I LOVE everything there (albeit the Bose's ofc) that's an amazing ambient lighting setup and the whole decór is plain awesome.... you want a B&O tv in there :P and remove those bose for god's sake.

Although Bose are shit, it isn't much of a bad idea having them at the rear because the rear speakers don't really do much, just effects in films.

When you have a place as nice as that, you're going to do alot of entertaining. And although we all know the truth about Bose, the fact is....most people don't, so when the guests come, they go WOW at the Bose.....they may have never heard of B&W, but they heard of Bose. Consider it a personal marketing tool. lol,

damn that is so awesome, I love how u have hidden everyting including the wiring. I have the same tv too but my speakers are much larger (TDL RTL4) floorstanders and they are pretty hard to blend into any furniture.

I must say I disagree with you regarding Bose! I tried many different types of speakers before I ended up with Acoustimass 5. They work extremely well, especially because of the spreading of the cubes.

A reporter from a Norwegian magazine called "Hjemmekino" (Home cinema) did a story about my home cinema setup. He was amazed by the way the Bose speakers worked, and wrote: (translated) "this is one of the best rear speaker systems I have ever listened to in any price range and size."
