What is this bowl sheet about giving the food-animal a "chance"? A chance to do WHAT!? The whole point is to feed the food-animal to the snake in a way that's going to be safe for the snake.

Who cares about the safety or the feelings of the food-animal? That's kinda what rodents do: they hang around human habitations and eat their garbage and proliferate like there's no tomorrow so that their cats and other hanger's-on can have lots of rodents to eat.
